I am pleased at how today panned out! I feel like I got in a great workout...and eating was ok.... meal four wasnt exactly CLEAN thanks to the summer sausage, but I love that stuff around the holidays...hahaha...so I had a little nibble...Other than that everything went well!

I am TIRED...off to bed I go!!!

I think Im getting a little bit of a cold...my chest is congested and achey and my nose is stuffed up a little bit....nothing extreme, but its still THERE...annoying...I hate it when my chest is congested...I think Ill go buy some sugarfree Robitussin....I wonder if I can take that with the Red Acid ...Id better find out! hahaha....anyone?

GREAT workout!!

I felt strong and totally in control....even got in almost a whole minute running at MY level 9! wow!

6 inch subway club on wheat w/ Baked Lays + 6 oz. vodka

4 oz chicken breast +2 servings of baby sweet gerkins

4 small s/f hard candies

Thoughts:
Ok...I finally decided tonight to have 2 hot toddies to try and calm my congestion...it worked like a charm and I feel great tonight...cals are a bit up but it wont matter in the whole scheme of things yanno?

So far no adverse effects of combining vodka + Red Acid ...I realize combining the two is NOT ADVISED by Controlled Labs(at least I dont THINK it is...lol)but I am a true believer in a few hot toddies to clear the chest of congestion...lol...and so far I feel better than I have in that respect all day! Yay!

The congestion in my cheat is breaking up this morning....I feel mucho better!

I didnt sleep well last night though....tossed and turned like crazy... Last time I had a few glasses of wine this happened as well....must be what happens when you mix alcohol w/ Red Acid ...interesting!

Default Still Day 12...

I forgot to mention that hurt myself last night accidentally....LOL...I smacked my foot on the bed frame and sliced the top of my foot open....worse yet
the whole top of my foot swelled up into A HUGE BALL OF GREEN AND BLUE bruise under the cut...it hit right on that vein on the top of my foot...ouchieeeee....I had to ice and elevate it...the pressure was intense...at one point I thought my vein was gonna burst it was so swollen! Luckily the ice helped quickly and I fell asleep not too long after.
This morning it isnt swollen much at all....just a bruise and a cut....I am very glad I dont have to do HIIT for a few days...lifting today and tomorrow for me....HIIT again on Monday.

Today's workout:
Verticle Push/Pull
Back, Shoulders, and Calves
Assisted Pullups: 10x3@BW
Towel Pulls:4x10@75lbs
Db pullover: 4x10@40lbs
Seated db press: 3x10@25lbs, 1x10@20lbs
Db upright rows: 4x10@15lbs
Cuban press: 4x10@20lbs
Seated Calf Raises: 3x15@144lbs

I started with the assisted pullups...as I have said before, there is NO way I could do a pullup on my own yet, so I have to do these "assisted" with slow negatives. I alternated between suppinated, pronated, and varied grip each set. These are super hard!!
Towel pulls were next...I used 75lbs for the higher reps today and really got in a great 4 sets tonight. It was very challenging, and I made a point to hold at the chest and concentrate on trying to squeeze my shoulder blades together too. NICE!
DB pullovers followed...I stuck with the 40lbs db for these pullovers since my reps were higher than normal. The last few sets of these with the 40 was good! I love this exercise!
Seated db press was the first shoulder exercise I did today. I have been getting that "ache" in my shoulders again after workouts, so I decided to lighten the weights a tad and watch my form. I do NOT want to seriously injure my RC! I used 25lbs for the first 3 sets of 10, but had to lower on the last set to 20lbs because I couldnt extend my arm all the way without pain with the 25lber. bummer on that, but I will continue to watch it and I am sure things will be fine.
Db upright rows were next....I used 15lb dbs for these and they felt fine. The left forearm started hurting a little during the sets, but nothing too bad. I think I hurt that forearm a few weeks ago doing pullups, so its still a bit tender. Overall it was a good few sets on the upright rows!
BB cubans were the last shoulder exercise. I purposely used an EXTREMELY light weight because of the shoulder issues. I used to do these cubans in my RC prehab, and they do wonders for my RC...I like them a lot! I got a GREAT burn in my shoulders on these tonight!
I finished the workout with 3 sets of Seated Calf raises...nothing spectacular there...hahaha....I held at the top AND bottom.

Menu for today:

I consumed 3 Red Acid capsules at 10am...about 2 hours before I ate...

meal one:
can tuna + 1 Tbs mayo + 1/2 c. pineapple chunks + 2 fish oil + 1 multivitamin

meal two:
1/2 c. oats + 1/2 c. cottage cheese + 1 pat butter + 3 sweet n low + 2 fish oil

meal three:
2 oz. summer sausage

I consumed 3 Red Acid capsules at 4pm

meal four:
6 oz. chicken breast + 1 c. cauliflower + 1 slice Kraft American cheese + 2 fish oil

meal five:
POST WO whey protein shake

meal six:
3 oz. lean pork loin + 1/2 small baked potato (dry/skin eaten) + 1/2 c. green beans + 1/4 c. brown gravy

one gallon water +

Macros for today:
Total: 1650
Fat: 68 615 39%
Sat: 25 228 14%
Poly: 12 106 7%
Mono: 11 99 6%
Carbs: 97 320 20%
Fiber: 17 0 0%
Protein: 165 659 41%
Alcohol: 0 0 0%

Thoughts:
It was a good day! Eating was right on track and workout went well! Fabulous!

good morning!

I slept pretty decent last night....much better than the night before! yay! I had a case of heartburn last night before bed, though...that sucked...

also had a teensy tiny headache....but nothing too serious.

I am TOTALLY sore this morning! My neck aches, my shoulders ache, my forearm aches...hell, I feel like my entire body is sore! UGH! Hopefully things will improve by this afternoon! Its Hip/Hammie day!

Hip/Hamstring dominant w/triceps
Good Mornings: 4x10@89lbs
Leg curls: 1x10@40lbs, 2x10@45lbs, 1x10@ 42.5 lbs
Back squats: 3x12@89lbs (Quad accessory)
Close grip bench press: 3x10@84lbs, 1x10@80lbs
bb pullovers: 4x10@44lbs
db extentions: 4x10@15lbs

I started todays workout with Good mornings. I havent done these in a long time and they felt REALLY good! I will do them again next week for sure. I cleaned the bb for the first 2 sets, but then my right shoulder started hurting a little bit so I stopped cleaning the bar and used the weight bench as my rack.
Leg curls were next...I started light with 40lbs for the 1st set, but added 5 more lbs for the next 2 sets...had to lower for the last set of 10 because the last few reps were really ugly...LOL...I got a great pump in my hammies with these today. I almost cramped up when I stood up after the last set I was so pumped! kewl!
I decided to do back squats (ass to the grass baby!) for my quad accessory exercise today. These were EXTREMELY hard for me today! I only used 89lbs but holy hell youd have thought it was 1000lbs! hahahaaa....I made it through though and my quads were TOAST! whohooooo!
Triceps were next....I started with the close grip bench press...I used 84lbs for the first 3 sets of 10 but had to lower for the last set....these were REALLY challenging today! whew!
BB pullovers were next...I like these a lot! They really burn my Triceps BIGTIME!
Last were the db extentions. Nothing spectacular with these today....I used a lighter weight than normal because of my shoulder pain, so the 15lbs didnt seem too difficult. I did notice my shoulders were really aching like hell after the workout though....damn! I think I need to start back up on RC prehab....


Overall it was a killer workout! I feel great!!! (although sore as hell...hahahahha)

Thoughts:
It was a good day! Eating was on track and workout was intense! I definitely have pain in my left forearm...hopefully the rest tomorrow will help. I noticed today that I am covered in bruises! UGH! hahaaa...I dunno if it has anything to do with the Red Acid or if I have just been especially hard on myself in the gym lately...LOL...but my legs and arms have bruises...not SERIOUS bruises or anything...just 3 or 4 on my right shins...some on my left forearm and upper arms, one on my right upper arm...geez Im falling apart! bwhahahhaaaaa.....

Tomorrow I will weigh/measure/do bf%/and take in progress pics
