Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | 90 days of madness. Here it is guys, the much anticipated thermo-stim-appetite killing supplement has arrived. Red Acid™ by Controlled Logs. Official Ingredients Label: ![]() A big thanks goes to Controlled Labs and all of their employees for making this possible. Current Stats: Age: 21 Sex: Male Height: 5' 11" ˝ Weight: 196 Body Type: Endomorph Initial Body Fat %: 12% according to a 4-point caliper test. Training Experience: Age 16-18 played High School water polo and swam. Age 18-20 swam at the college level. Never really started getting into weight until about a 16 months ago, since then I have been battling what works and what doesn't, exploring the world of nutrition, and trying to soak up information as I can about supplementation/fitness/overall health. After college swim ended I got up to 216lbs at about 34% body fat. Not being satisfied with my physical appearance I started to go to the gym, mainly focusing on cardio. Now, I have clearer goals and bodybuilding has definetely turned into an essential part of my life and a hoby that I truely enjoy. Now, for about the last 10 months I have been focused and have gotten some direction from such programs as Max-OT and HST but still lacked the nutritional knowledge to see great gains. In the last few months I've really been able to control my diet and watch my protein intake carefully. Current Training Schedule/Protocol: I lift weights 4 days a week. My days are no conformed to any specific day but my splits are as follows: Legs/Abs, Back/Biceps, Shoulders/Biceps/Forearms, Chest/Triceps. I play around with reps and stay in the range of 5-15 reps depending on what part of my program I'm in. I'm currently doing a 8 week HST program and am doing my 4th week of 21 sets 10 reps ea. Cardio Schedule/Protocol: My time has become extremely limited as has my energy. I'm hoping that I will be motivated to do more cardio with the help of RA as well as the combination of YC and EC in the future. For the last couple of months I have swayed away from cardio as it conflicts with my lifting regiment and quite frankly I've seen great results in the past 6 weeks without it. Instead I've put more energy into my workouts and diet. So as far as cardio is concerned, I'm going to have to play it by ear. Supplementation Schedule 1st bottle: Red Acid - Stand-alone Whey Fish-oil L-Leucine Mutli-vitamin Vitamin-C Creatine Mono 2nd bottle: Red Acid YC Stack Whey Fish-oil L-Leucine Mutli-vitamin Vitamin-C Creatine Mono 3rd bottle: Red Acid EC Stack Whey Fish-oil L-Leucine Mutli-vitamin Vitamin-C Creatine Mono Current Diet: I'm on a very clean diet and allow myself to have a reload day on the weekend if I feel its necessary which it usually is. My calories intake floats around 2100-2500. On lifting days I concentrate on eating more of my daily food around pre-wo and post-wo. I'm following a 50% protein, 35% carbs, 15% fats diet. As much as I liked keeping all of my food intake on fitday.com, I'll be unable to do this everyday as my schedule doesn't permit. Commons Foods in Diet: Skim Milk Fat Free Yogurt Bananas, Apples Lean Lunch Meats Albacore Tuna Wheat Break Steel Rolled Oats Brown rice Chicken breast Eggs Beans Tomatoes Etc... Supplement History: NHA stack by Designer Supplements MP by DS EC stack YC stack BCAAs Fish Oil Flax Oil Sesamin Muscle Milk Omega Thunder CE2 Lipo6 Short Term Goals: To keep as much muscle mass as possble while losing fat at a steady process. Long Term Goals: At the end of this log I hope to be no lighter than 180lbs and be at least 8-9% bodyfat. I expect to have a fully visable 6-pack and increased definition. Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Thanks for the support guys... I got RA shortly before I left to work. I took one serving for an initial reaction. Felt a noticeable increase in focus and energy, nothing as dramatic as EC but something very clean. I didn't crash later and still feel pretty good as a matter of fact. I also didn't feel hungry for the rest of the day...at all, but still ate. I'm sure my evaluation will get more specific as time goes by. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Yesterday was first full day on correct dosing timing and full dosing amount. -Red Acid on an empty stomach was pretty forgiving and did not give me any nausea or headaches. From what I can tell Red Acid is very interesting and different from other Lipos and thermogenics in the sense that the energy is very clean and somewhat not all that noticeable. -3 caps woke me up but didn't make me feel like EC or even Lipo-6, it just made me feel "up" and fully awake but not hyper in any way. As the day went on I started noticing some effects that were definetely coming from Red Acid. -I wasn't hungry the whole day! It was so strange. From about 9-5pm the only food intake I had was a milk protein shake and half of an apple, now of course this isn't good for my body but I did it for a couple of reasons, primarily to test the initial effects of Red Acid. What was so strange to me is that I could feel my stomach completely empty but in no way did I feel hungry or have the usual headache I get when I'm hungry or the ansy feeling I usually get. This, I thought was crazy. And of course it gets better, I go to eat a Dos Manos burrito which is one huge burrito from Baja Fresh. Something like 1100 cals total and only 8 bucks. Great deal IMO. Usually I womp done the thing like a friggin champ! Not this time, I struggled to pick out the rest of the chicken that was left in the smart part of the burrito I couldn't finish. I was thinking maybe I ate too fast but I doubt that was the reason, time will tell... -My focus was a little better during the day than usual and throughout I felt good and never crashed, which was amazing since I only got about 6 hours of sleep. I usually get very tired at around 4pm. This didn't happen. I powered through 6 hours of work and never really felt tired. These are of course, the initial impressions on full dosing of Red Acid and I'm sure these statements will either be reinforced and toned down a little bit as time goes by. Lets hope they are only reinforced! Although I like having an appetitie it is pretty damn cool, I couldn't fathom eating for the rest of the day after that burrito but I did have some food when I got home just because I know I needed the cals and protein. Today will be my first day lifting with Red Acid, impression to come. Stay Tuned OH, before I forget. Two more big things I noticed! - I was afraid the burp-up taste of Red Acid on a nasty stomach would be gross, it is not. -My legs FELT AWESOME! yesterday...haven't felt that great in a damn long time. And get this, I lifted legs the day before!!!!! I was so effing happy with this I was walking everywhere at the speed of a Olympic 75 year old power walker. Definetely cool! On a side note: A friend of mine told me I looked "skinny" and looked better 4 months ago when I was 208. :-( . Although I can't wait to bulk, I thought to myself..."Well that may be true, but at 208 you don't want to see me without my shirt, LOL" |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Just came back from an hour long bike ride and felt pretty good the whole way through. My legs felt pretty tired on the up-hills but besides that I was quite impressed to how well they performed. For some reason I was in the mood of doing cardio this morning, and Red Acid helped me get in the mood. Although I think a lot of it is sometime physchological, I can feel Red Acid give me a little bump and I really believe that a lot of it has to do with how well you can pump yourself up to do something. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Red Acid really doesn't provide you with same amount of stimulation as the EC stack will but still gives you a steady and long-lasting fresh feeling. I know that Red Acid stacked with EC is going to be awesome. I tell you guys what...my results by the end of month 1 are going to be interesting... |
