Default Day 45, Thursday 9/29/05


Thursday is my leg day, but this was my birthday, so I used it for an excuse to get together with some of my buds and celebrate a little.

Needless to say, no Power Jolt today, I will be doing my legs on Friday. And, since I am typing this on Friday, that means as soon as I sign off here! See you tomorrow!

Default Day 46, Friday 9/30/05

I did legs today instead of on Thursday. I took 4 capsules of the Power Jolt plus 1 capsule of GXR 45 minutes before my workout. I'm getting the same results everytime I try this, an increase in duration of the enrgy boost, but not an increase in the intensity.

Quads:
Leg Press: 10 reps x 630 lbs, 10x630, 9x630
Leg extensions: 10x120, 10x120

Hamstrings:
Lying leg curls: 10x80, 9x80, 8x80
Seated leg curls: 12x160, 12x160

Calves:
Seated calf raises: 12x165, 12x165

Saturday is delts and arms day. I decided to make this the last day of this log as there hasn't been much change in the way the Power Jolt has been working for me the last week or so. That is, it's still working great, I don't want anyone to misunderstand!

I took 4 capsules of the Power Jolt, 1 capsule of GXR and two capsules of green tea extract 45 minutes before my workout. The green tea and GXR again served to lengthen, but not intensify, the energy boost from the Power Jolt.

Delts:
Hammer Stregth Overhead press: 8 reps x 230 lbs, 8x230, 9x230
DB lateral raise: 8x35, 8x35

Triceps:
Lying DB extensions: 9x55, 9x55, 8x55
Tricep dip machine: 13x230, 12x230

Biceps:
Incline DB curls: 10x40, 8x40, 7x40
Standing concentration curls: 15x45, 15x45

Default Final thoughts

I was quite happy with my experience with the Power Jolt. :bigthumbu

It did exactly what it claimed to do. It gave me a nice energy boost without any jitters. Also, there was no energy crash, just a nice slow drop off in energy, back to pre-Power Jolt levels. I never experienced any rebound or crash from the Power Jolt.

The energy boost usually lasted around 4 hours for me. I could extend this another 1.5 to 2 hours by adding Glucophase XR or green tea extract to the Power Jolt.

What impressed me the most with the Power Jolt is that it worked despite the fact that I average around 5 hours of sleep per night and that I have to get up at 3 AM to go to work. I suspect that the product would work even better for someone who can get a more typical 8 hours of sleep per night.

I did take the Power Jolt only on weight training days as Matt mentioned that one could build up a tolerance to the sulbutiamine. I think this really helped the effectiveness of the product. In the past I have had other energy products lose their effectiveness after two to three weeks because of my building a tolerance to them. The Power Jolt was still working for me after almost 7 weeks. Also, only taking the Power Jolt three times a week means that one bottle will last 8 weeks, which is a real good deal in my opinion.

I would like to again thank Matt and Proverbs for this chance to try out the Power Jolt.
