Default Day 38

DOSE
9:00 AM
4:00 PM

EFFECTS
Going heavy on bench yesterday has me really sore. This is the most intense soreness I have ever felt in my chest. Also, the legs have been very sore from Monday's workout. Other than those little bits of info, nothing new has occurred. Everything has been going as planned and expected. I haven't weighed recently b/c I am going by the mirror, but I have a fee,ing that I will be around 183-4. I will most likely weigh this weekend.

Default Day 39

DOSE
9:00 AM
2:10 PM

EFFECTS
Today I had a good workout. I was pumped beyond belief, which was odd. Also, I have noticed some acne on my shoulders and chest the last few days, and thought I'd mention it. I can't say it's from the XF, and I personally think it has to do with the higher fat diet I am on.

DIET

I took yesterday pretty easy eating wise. I needed a little break for my sanity. Today I am back at it though, and the calories are high.

TRAINING

BICEPS: DB Preacher Curls (35s * 17)
FOREARMS: BTB BB Curls (115 * 22)
CALVES: **(405*19)
HAMS: SLDL (255 * 15) +10 lbs
QUADS: Hack Squats (380 * 10) +20 lbs and (330 * 21) +10 lbs

**= I put a board on the ground in the squat rack, and do calf raises on this. I have found these to be a great exercise since it kills the calves and helps stability.

Default Day 40

I am updating today after my first dose because I have to go work at the house my parents are building and there is a good chance I won't be back until pretty late.

DOSE
10:40 AM
??

EFFECTS
I feel DEAD today. I don't know what the cause is since I slept great last night. I am also very sore all over my body, which makes the prospect of construction work not too nice.

Default Day 41

DOSE
10:00 AM
5:00 PM

EFFECTS
I have been very sore today throughout my entire body. My biceps are so tender that it hurts to touch them. My legs feel as if they are going to cramp up at any minute, too. I guess last week was tough on me. On a side note, I can see visible changes in many areas of my body since the start of my log, and I am very pleased. I just hope they are as visible to people looking at pictures as they are to me.

Default Day 42

DOSE
9:00 AM
2:20 PM

EFFECTS

I had to change my workout again today due to pain in my shoulders and elbows. I had a decent workout besides that. Strength is still going up nicely. On an off note, I entered into a contest at Clemson called Iron Tiger. It consists of the following:
80% bodyweight bench press for max reps
100% bodyweight sled drag for best time
80% bodyweight farmers walk max distance

I am going to work on my bench a little bit differently to prepare for the contest.

DIET
Took an easy day on Sunday, and am back to hitting it heavy today and for the entire week.

TRAINING

CHEST: Bench (135*5, 155*5, 175*3, 195*2, 155*5, 135*10) DBs were hurting my shoulders so I went with BB
SHOULDERS: Hammer Strength Shoulder Press (110*20) Killing me, so I went light
TRICEPS: Rope Pushdowns (150*25)
BACK WIDTH: BTB Pulldowns (130*20*2)
BACK THICKNESS: Deadlifts (315*5, 365*2) Went easy since I hit 405 during the weekend

I finished with power shrugs, doing sets of 10, jumping up every 20 pounds from 315 to 375.

I'm lookng forward to putting up the end pics. I think you'll be able to see a big difference in a few different areas. My lat spread seems to have exploded, and my legs are getting a lot better definition.

Feeling good today. Sore, but good. I am really, really in a good mood right now. I just found out that I got 2nd place in the Scivation transformation contest on the other board! I am so happy right now it's hard to sit still and type this.

My plans for the rest of the day include an ab workout and working on farmer's walk to prep for the Iron Tiger contest on March 11.

EFFECTS
I felt like I was crippled all day today. My legs are killing me like never before. My calves feel inflated, which makes it hurt to walk. Also, my quads and hams feel like they are going to cramp up at any given moment. Other than the intense pain, nothing new has happened. I am sad though that my cycle is almost over.

On another note, I will not be updating my log Saturday. I am going home tomorrow for my grandfather's 90th b-day party and will not be taking my laptop with me.

EFFECTS
I felt shitty today, but I don't usually work out this close to breakfast. On the other hand, I am happy. I got 12 reps with the weight I will use in the contest today and I didn't really push it too hard. PLus, I already trained chest to failure this week. When I am rested up, I am hoping for a minimum of 15, which shouldn't be too hard.

DIET
I am looking forward to not having to east so much This is tough! I'm sticking it out until the end though - you better believe that!

TRAINING EASY FROM NOW UNTIL CONTEST
CHEST: Bench Press (145*12 SS)
SHOULDERS: DB Military (50s*12 SS)
TRICEPS: Dips (15)

Default Day 48

DOSE
7:00 AM
3:05 PM

EFFECTS

I have felt pretty bad lately. The pain in my legs since my last quad workout has been getting worse and worse and worse. My legs cramp up if I just slightly flex them. Oh well. I'm going to take them light this coming week in order to not overwork myself before the contest.

On a side note, I was able to maintain a good diet during the weekend - even at the party. They had a huge ham and a ton of cheeses, so I had a pretty good time.

Default Day 49

DOSE
9:25 AM
2:15 PM

EFFECTS
I have felt like SHIT today. I ate some bad food yesterday and was up all night puking. My workout today, needless to say, wasn't the best it could have been. I went light on everything except a squat single.

DIET
I am altering my diet this week for the contest. My goal is to weigh in at 174-175, so I am doing what I can to drop that 5 pounds of water/glycogen. I am only eating carbs after my workout or cardio, and I am doing 45 minutes of cardio every day (even leg workout days). I am also cutting out creatine and am eating fewer meals per day. I feel that lowering the carbs should bring me in at around where I want to be, but I'm not taking chances.

TRAINING
BICEPS: DB Curls (30s*12*2)
FOREARMS: DB Holds -45 seconds (85s, 100s, 110s)
CALVES: Seated Calf Raises (135*25)
HAMS: Seated Leg Curls (150*15)
QUADS: Squats (135*10, 225*5, 315*1, 225*3)

Default Day 49**

I seem to have miscounted my days. Tomorrow will be my last day on X-Factor. I plan on posting my final pics and stats on Monday.

DOSE
7:20 AM
3:10 PM

EFFECTS
I have had a very tight/sore right knee today. I don't know if it is from the increased cardio, but it is bothering me. Other than that, I am doing well. I feel a little odd due to the diet changes I implemented today. I am going to drop as much water weight as possible in order to weigh in light for the contest on Saturday. After weigh in, I will chug a few cocktails of Xtend, Storm, oats, and other goodies to get me ready to lift an hour later.
