Arrow MN X-Factor @ 1250mg/day for 40 days LOG -= Redvision =-

Intro
Hello everyone! I'm new here, I've been on bb.com for a while now and I'm gonna LOG my 40 days of X-Factor on here too...

I'm 21yo, 6'3", 225pounds @ ~13%bf. I've been lifting for 2 years ½ now, paying more attention to my diet/caloric intake/macros for the past 6 months.

Dosage: 1250mg/day
I don't know if it has ever been done before, but after speaking with Phosphate Bond, I decided I'll be running my 2 bottles of X-Factor @ 1250mg/day (5 caps, instead of 4) for 40 days. I'll take 2 caps in the morning and 3 caps before my workout, at about 7PM.

Other Supplements
I'll also be taking Cre-ethyl Thunder pre workout (for the first 30 days) and HP CEE post (2.5g), NOW Adam Multi (2ed), ON 100% Whey Gold (6-8 scoops/day, plus its BCAA content seems to help a lot with DOMS), and finally QSE Gold Carbs (2 scoops) post workout.

Diet
I'll be aiming for at least 5000 cals/day, with 400g protein and at least 1.5 gallon of water.

Typical foods: Pasta, Chicken Breast, Lean Beef, 1% Milk, Chocolate Milk, Low-fat Cheese, Whole wheat bread, Whey...

Typical day:

07:30AM: 2 softgels X-Factor, 1 capsule Now ADAM, 3g Taurine, Meal 1

10:30AM: Meal 2

12:00PM: Meal 3

03:00PM: Meal 4

05:30PM: Meal 5

06:30PM: 3 softgels X-Factor, 8 caps Thunder, 3g Taurine

06:45PM: Meal 6 (pre-workout; oats+whey)

09:00PM: Meal 7 (post-workout; dextrose + whey), 2.5g CEE, 3g Taurine

11:00PM: Meal 8, pre-bed

Routine: 4 day-split, 10-12 rep range

DAY 1: Quads/Calves

Squat (4 sets)
Legpress (4 sets)
Leg extension (3 sets)
Standing calf raise (4 sets)
Seated calf raise (4 sets)


DAY 2: Chest/Shoulders

Incline dumbell press (4 sets)
Flat dumbell press (3 sets)
Weighted Dips (3 sets)
Military press (4 sets)
Side laterals raises (3 sets)
Rear laterals machine (3 sets)


DAY 3: OFF


DAY 4: Back/hamstrings

Rack Pulls (4 sets)
T-Bar rows (3 sets)
Wide grip pullups (3 sets)
Dumbell row (2 sets)
Barbell Shrugs (3 sets)
SLDL (3 sets)
Lying Leg curl (3 sets)


DAY 5: Triceps/Biceps

Close-grip bench press (3 sets)

Updates

Since I'm in the final exams and all that sh*t at school, I'll note my feelings and thoughts everyday and update my Log as often as I can...

I'm not gonna detail all my workout this time, but only the major lifts and/or strenght increase.

I'll weight in every Monday morning, first thing upon waking up.

Default day 1 - Off

Saturday was day 1 of my Log. I haven't talked yet to MN rep, so I only took 4 softgels (1000mg) of X-Factor the first day. it was an OFF day and I got in 4500 calories, with 375g protein.

I slept like a baby that first night and I'm glad I had... I know some users who have sleep issues, particulary in their 2nd cycle.

Default day 2 - Off

Yesterday was day 2 and the first time I took 1250mg of AA in one day. Again, I was afraid about not being able to sleep, but I felt asleep as fast as I habitually do, so it's all good so far.
Yesterday was another Off day. My diet was pretty good:
5200 calories, 407g protein, only 84g of fat.

I'll stay in that caloric range for the whole cycle and see what happens...

Default Weighted in at day 3 - 226 pounds

Just weighted in upon waking up and the scale indicates 226 pounds, so I gonna take that as my starting weight for this 40-day Log.

Today will be my last Off day. I was supposed to train, but I have to do some school work and I knew yesterday that I'll have to bounce tonight, so no time today... I'll train on Tuesday-Wednesday - - Friday-Saturday this week, instead of mon-tue-thurs-fri...

Like I said earlier, today was my last off day until Thursday.

I took 3 softgels with my breakfast this morning and 2 softgels with my dinner, at 6PM.

Diet today: 4900 cals, 400g protein.

Notes:
Already a big appetite increase, after 2 days @ 1250mg.
I was hungry all day long and was always eating... The kind of low caloric intake for the day is because I woke up at 11AM this morning, so didn't have that much time to eat today (missed my 1st meal), but my appetite have definitely increased!

I slept like a baby another time last night, so far so good!

I'll be doing Chest/Shoulders tomorrow!

Default day 4 - Chest/Shoulders

Dosage:
2 softgels with breakfast
3 softgels on empty stomach 1 hour before training

Training:
Did Chest/Shoulders today at the gym and it was hell of a workout! I was tired all day, but after taking X-F + Thunder, I was ready to go! We tried to take 90-120sec rest max and oh man! I dropped the weights on my Incline + Flat DB press!!! Plus all that in 10-12 rep range, I got insane pumps in both my chest and delts!

Diet:
Diet was very good today, still have 1 meal left and I'm at 4440 cals and 330g protein so far.

Notes:
Sleep is still great, but I still felt like shit all day long. Lethargy seems to kick up pretty fast in that cycle, as long as other effects I only felt after almost 2 weeks in my previous cycle. Appetite's still up.

I slept like a baby the past night. When my alarm rang at 10:30AM, I thought it was only 7:30... It's been a while since it hasn't felt like that...
But I was still tired today, way more than yesterday, which is kind of weird since I got at least 9hrs of sleep.

I'll keep you updated, but so far I feel like 1250mg of AA seems to kick a lot faster than 1000... placebo? surely not... appetite has definitely increased, as well as lethargy.

Maybe it's only because my AA levels was still not back to normal, which would explain why they build up pretty fast? (I waited 38 days between my cycle, which is shorter than the recommended 50 days). I'd like to have feedback from guys at Molecular Nutrition on that please...

Faster build-up plus increased dosage. Yeah, you're gonna have increased effects, both positive and negative.

Make sure you're eating at least 20% of calories from fat. Don't be afraid to eat natty peanut butter or some nuts, just don't use fish oil.

You should be sure to get LOTS of potassium in your diet. Organic blackstrap mollases has over 700mg of potassium per tablespoon and is what I use while on X-Factor. Bananas of course are good. Aim for 4-5 grams. This will help lethargy. Magnesium will help as well. Nuts are a good source of magnesium or you can supplement with it. Maybe try some ZMA.

Try those suggestions out and see if things don't start feeling better.

Thx a lot man, I'll up my potassium and magnesium intake. After speaking to phosphate bond, I also decided to split my X-Factor in 4 doses instead of 2, which could maybe help a bit...

Training:
Today was an off day, I'll be training on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Dosage:
I took 3 sofgels with my breakfast this morning and 2 before bed.

But like I said before, after the recommandation of Phosphate bond, I'll split my 5 softgels of X-Factor in 4 doses instead of 2. I'll take 1 in the morning, 1 mid-day, 2 pre-workout and 1 before bed.
On Off days, I'll take 2 in the morning, 2 mid-day and 1 before bed.


Diet:
5023 calories, 484 carbs, 411 protein, 137 fat.

Notes:
Nothing special to report today.
Appetite is still up, Lethargy is still bad and Sleep is still great!!!

Default day 6 - Forced off day...

Training:
I was supposed to train Back/hamstrings today, but the gym was closed because of a fcking wind storm that broke electric lines here

So I concentrate on my Diet and I'll do my workout tomorrow, I have no choice

Dosage:
I took 2 sofgels at 11Am, 2 softgels at 5PM and I'll take the last one before bed.

Diet:
I'll reach 5000cals today, with 400g protein and at least 1.5 gallon of water. I ate some bananas too, may help with lethargy... but I'll probably buy some potassium and magnesium supp too...

Notes:
Still felt lethargic today, even if the sleep was great again last night.
I also feel warmer than usual today.

edit: I also felt numbness in my left arm 2 times today, which is unusual for me...

Appetite is still up, I'm hungry 30min after eating

If only it could be like that all winter on bulking phase! it'd be great

I'll update tomorrow after my workout,

Default day 7 - Back/hams

Training:
I the back/hamstrings routine of my new workout for the first time today! It isn't easy, but I love it... Great pump from top to bottom of my back! I subsitued SLDL by seated leg curls tho, since I hadn't the energy to do SLDL since I did 4 sets of 12reps of regular Deadlift at the beginning...

Dosage:
1 in the morning
2 pre-workout
1 8:00PM
1 before bed

Diet:
Diet was so-so today... 5500 cals and 410g protein, but almost 150g fat I'll have to clean that...

Notes:
I seem to look fuller
Still warmer
Lethargy seem to be down a bit since I split my 1250mg of AA in 4 doses instead of 2, which is a very good thing
Sleep is still great

Thx for stopping by man!

Yeah, so far so good... can't wait to weight in on Monday morning. So far, I appear to be a bit leaner and I feel fuller, we'll see!

It seems that 1250mg kick in faster than 1000mg, plus I think that my AA levels were not back to normal yet, since I only waited 38 days after my first cycle, so I expect great gains!

Training:
Yesterday was day 8 of my Log and I did Bi/Tri at the gym. It was hell of a workout, doing arms all in 10-12rep range isn't easy! (I habitually did between 6-10 reps...)

It was also the first time since almost 1 year that I didn't supersets bi and tri. Doing all bicep moves, then all triceps is a totaly different feeling and I loved it! Got great pumps, even in my forearms from Hammer curls!!!

Dosage:
1 softgel in the morning
1 softgel mid-day
2 softgels pre-training
1 softgel before bed

Diet:
5227 calories, 360g protein, 1 gallon water

Notes:
Lethargy has gone down since I split my 1250mg in 4 doses instead of 5, which is a very good thing.
I'm not feeling the DOMS yet, but taking 6-8 servings of ON Whey/day helps a lot in that way (lots of BCAA's...)
Appetite's still up
Sleep is still good
No acne so far...
