Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | Upper Body 4-30-07 Took my first dose of WTF Pump'd. It mixes well, it takes a minute or two to dissolve thoroughly and some of the GMS doesn't go into solution, but that will always be the case with GMS. It tastes pretty good. Not great, but it went down smooth with no after taste. I arrived at the gym feeling focused and ready to rock. Flat wide-grip bench press: 145 x10, x10, x8, x6 Whoa baby... on my first warm-up set with 115 my chest got so pumped that I felt like I had just finished my last working set. No BS, this was unlike any pump I've felt before and I've used bulk GMS and other 'pump' products in my past. I had to cut my last two working sets short of my 10 rep target because the pump was downright excruciating, but in a good way. My pecs felt like they were going to explode. Incline db bench press: 55 x8, x7, 8 I used less weight than usual due to the extreme pump. I wanted to really feel the muscle work and get the pump rockin' to the max. Oh man... the last set was killer. Bent-over barbell rows: 130 x5, x5, x5, x5, 135 x5 Normally, with a 5x5 of rows I wouldn't get much of a pump. With the WTF, my back was feeling wide and tight the whole time. Even my hammies started pumping up and getting a little crampy. Side lateral raise: 20 x10, x10, x10 Not only did my shoulders get a great pump, but my lat pump continued to get more severe, to the point of nearly cramping... from side laterals!!! Face pulls: 46.6 x10, x10, x10 Traps pumped up nice on these. Close-grip bench press: 120 x10, x10, x10 Tris got a real nice, painful pump... and the chest, which was still pumped mind you, got a pump recharge. Rope pushdown: 83.3 x10, x10, x10 The pump was insane, I wanted to cry after the last couple of reps. EZ bar curl: 50 x10, x10, x10 I've been working on my curl form lately and today I really focused on keeping a bend in my wrist to take the forearms out of the lift.... I was suprised just how much more emphasis is placed on the bicep doing curl this way. That modification plus the WTF led to the most painful bicep pump I've ever had and this is the lightest weight I've used for my curls in a couple of years. Db preacher: 15 x10, x10, x10 That's right, the pump was so intense that I couldn't use more than a 15 lb dumbbell for these. I tried a 20 and I could only squeeze out a few excruciating reps. In summary: Awesome pumps, just insane... painful, in the most skin splitting manner you can imagine. I dig it. Time will tell how these pumps contribute to gains, but there is no doubt that this product is extremely effective at inducing an incredible pump. I felt very alert and focused through the entire workout. Tomorrow I trash the legs... the pain should be exquisite.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | 5-01-07 Lower Body Squats ATG: 155 x5, 165 x5, x5 175 x5, 185 x5 Good Mornings: 115 x5, 120 x5, x5 Hack squat machine: 110 x10, x10, x9 Pullthroughs: 96.6 x10, 100 x10, x10 Ab pull down: 146.6 x10, x10, x10, x10, x10 No time for calves... hope to get to 'em tomorrow. Thoughts: I can't say that the pump today was any more intense than what I usually experience. Maybe my upper body is just more sensitive to the effects of the product... I dunno. Despite the lack of an insane pump, I did feel really alert, focused, and infused with a positive attitude. The energy from WTF is really clean feeling without any jitters or anxiety... this is definitely a 'feel good' supplement. To follow-up from yesterday's workout, I am experiencing relatively intense DOMS in my chest and tris. The pump was so insane in my chest that I didn't doubt I'd be in pain today. Interestingly, my biceps rarely ever get DOMS anymore, I definitely wouldn't expect any soreness from 15 lb preacher curls... lol, but my WTF workout from yesterday has my biceps hurtin' more today than they have in a very long time. Tomorrow is just HIIT cardio. Thursday I'll lift for upper again, and then friday the lower gets smacked again.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | 5-03-07 Upper Body Incline db bench press: 75 x5, x5, x5 x5, x5 Hammer strength isolateral bench press: 157 x8, 147 x6, x6 Pullups: 5 sets to failure Close-grip seated cable row: 140 x8, 120 x8, x10 Standing bb military press: 85 x10, x8, x10 Overhead ext/bicep curl supersets using EZ bar: 50 x10/x10, two more sets didn't count reps on those... too much pain Single-arm reverse grip pressdown: 40 x10, x8, x6 Single arm cable curl: 30 x10, x8, x7 Thoughts: Really good workout. I'm lovin' the positive energy and intense focus I'm getting from the WTF. I feel like I'm achieving a really solid mind/muscle connection on each and every rep. The pumps were insane again today. I hit a full 5x5 with 75s on incline bench so I'll be graduating to the 80s next week... woo hoo!! My back was feeling wide as a house after the pull ups and my biceps got very pumped from them, which isn't typical. I did supersets for arms today and it was just masochistic how painful the pumps were.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | 5-04-07 Lower Body ATG Squat: 140 x10, x10, x10 x10 Machine deadlift: 360 x5, 380 x5, 400 x5 Pullthroughs: 100 x10, x10, x10 Hyperextensions: BW+25 x10, x10, x10 Hanging leg raise: x10, x10, x10 Alternating twisting ab pulldown: 120 x10 (to each side), x12 (each side) Thoughts: I really felt the pump on this leg workout. After my squats, I was walking like I had a load in my pants because my legs were so pumped up. My lower back really had a painful pump from the deadlifts right on through until the end. I've never felt an intense lower back pump before so this was new for me. The muscles in my lumbar regions were hard as rocks... it was cool. I've already pretty much decided that WTF is going to become a staple for me. I'm already in love.

Last week I struggled with 145 on the bench press, due to the pain of the pumps, and this week 145 was suprisingly easy. The only rep that was really taxing was the last one. The pump felt great and was not as painful as last week. My recovery between sets was excellent. I didn't rest more than a minute between any of my sets today. For the next two weeks, I'm going to be on cutting cals. I'm hoping with the help of WTF that I'll keep making some strength gains on reduced cals.

I need to increase the weight on my GMs... these were too easy today.
