Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 14 | thanks df and sixpack for stopping by. i had to do this workout at home, and will be all week. the gym i train at is in the shop i work in, and is closed this week. it's also going to be closed off and on for the next couple months. i've got a decent setup in the garage, so i don't mind. the only drawback is i don't have a training partner when i train at home, and i've just gotten used to having one at the gym. anyway, did back, biceps, a little for calves today. chins: bodyweight x 10, 10, 8, 5 reverse grip pulldowns: 100x10, 110x10, 120x10 my cable setup isn't good barbell rows: 165x10, 175x10, 8 db hammer curls: 45x10, 10, 10 ez bar curls: 85x8, 8, 8 standing calf raises: 185x12, 12, 10 had pretty good energy and focus today, even though my diet wasn't so great. i ate fairly clean, just a little less than usual. i'm off work all week, so i am kind of out of my regular schedule. at work i have 3 breaks, and i eat a meal at each. add those with breakfast, lunch, pre/post workout and my cup of cottage cheese before bed, i never have a hard time eating enough. here are a couple pics. be gentle... :cam: |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 14 | day 3: diet was back on track today, i've been eating like usual. i felt good all day, spent the afternoon looking at houses and talking to my realtor. i trained a bit later than usual, so i took a serving of omega power jolt preworkout. woke me up, had plenty of energy. incline db press: 75x10, 80x10,8,8 flat db flye: 45x10,8,8 close grip bench: 135x10, 145x10, 155x8 skullcrushers: 75x10,10,8 crunches: 2x15 hanging leg raises: 2x15 i've raised my water intake from a gallon to about 1.5. this doesn't include my shakes, coffee, milk, and the diet coke i have with lunch. tomorrow is leg day, my favorite. i'll probably be working out late again, i've got a few houses to check out.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 14 | great workout for day 4! squats: 275x10, 295x10, 305x8, 295x10 front squats: 155x10, 10, 8 sldl: 155x10, 10, 10 db lunges: 45x10, 10 - still getting used to these 1 leg db calf raise: 45x20, 20 probably should've gone heavier with calves, other than that pretty good. i'm not crazy about squatting without a spotter, but it needed to be done. i really don't know how much heavier i would've gone, but it sure makes me feel better knowing there's someone there... the only thing i'm really noticing from the swole is thirst. i can't get enough to drink! i don't feel bloated or anything, and i'm going to the bathroom more than usual. i'm starting to really enjoy the flavor, especially the last few drinks of each serving. it gets pretty "tart" at the bottom of the bottle... arms and shoulders tomorrow. my son's got a hockey tournament all weekend. the first game is friday at 4:15, two games on saturday, and hopefully two on sunday. sunday's games are the semi-finals and finals. sure would be nice if they could bring home a trophy. :fingersxd

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 14 | monday 1/23: chins: bodyweight x 10,10,10,6 reverse grip pulldowns: 11x10,10,10- not sure how much the plates weigh... barbell rows: 175x10,8,8 db hammer curls: 45x10,10,10 ez bar curls: 85x10,9,7 calf machine: 230x12,12,12 i'm not having any sides from the swole. no bloating or anything. i am kinda "gassy" though, but i'm not sure if it's from swole. diet was good and i had an excellent workout today, gym was packed though. my employer owns the gym and they hire a company to run it. well, a new company took over a few weeks ago and is moving stuff all around and taking things out. as of now we don't have a bench or any place to do squats, so i'll probably be using dumbells instead of barbell bench and i'll just do squats at home. i think when i get into my new house i'll be buying a power rack and just doing everything at home.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 14 | well, didn't get squats in on friday, my hams and lower back were still a little sore from deads on wednesday. got them on saturday afternoon, though i didn't have much time. saturday 1/28: squats- 295x10,305x10,315x10,8,5 monday 1/30: chins: bodyweightx10,10,10,8 reverse grip pulldowns: 12x10,10,10 barbell rows: 175x10,10,8 db hammer curls: 45x10,10,10 ez bar curls: 85x10,8,8 calf machine: 250x15,270x15,290x12 pretty good workout today. i'm glad that was good after the morning i had. when i took my daughter to the babysitter's house, the brakes on my truck were grinding. so when i got home i decided to change them. i had the parts and have been putting it off, and i had an hour to kill, so why not? well, after i finished that my battery was dead and it was time to leave for work. luckily i carpool, so i just had my buddy come get me. now i've gotta change my battery tomorrow morning. back on topic-i'm going to buy another tub of this. i like the flavor, and i'm having decent strength gains on it. i'm actually eating a little under maintenance right now, my appetite isn't all there. i've got a cutting log with thermolife's dicana coming up next month, so i was thinking of cutting back on cals early anyways... :nosthumbs
