Default 4amWorkouts GAKIC\CEE-Pro Log

First, thanks to MuscleTech for giving me the free bottles of GAKIC and CEE-Pro. I apologize for taking so long to start this test, but the GAKIC came during my Controlled Labs stack test. Second, anyone who wants to bash MT, please go and do it somewhere else - I don't care about their price points or marketing plan. This is a review of these two products, period.

This is my first use of GAKIC, but I have used CEE-Pro for about 2 weeks, until I ran into creatinine\BUN issues (may or may not be connected). So CEE-Pro may only go through half of this log.

To read about GAKIC, please go to: http://www.gakic.com

To read about CEE-Pro, please go to: http://www.muscletech.com/PRODUCTS/C.../CEE_PRO.shtml

Dosage: I will be taking 8 caps of GAKIC and 2 caps CEE-Pro 30-45min pre wo with 32oz of water, and 2 caps of CEE-Pro in the afternoon with 32oz of water. These supps will only be taken on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Current Training Schedule / Protocol: To try and be as scientific as possible, I will be using the following protocol for the next 4 weeks, looking to increase each exercise by 10-11%, specifically incline, deads, military and squats. I have established a 6 rep baseline from previous routine.

Default Monday October 31st

I was sick most of last week, so diet was rather carb heavy and sporadic. Did do cardio on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on empty stomach first thing in the morning, but no lifting. Except for Bone Boost and HP shakes on those 3 days and the multi and C everyday (sometimes twice a day), I have been off of my supps since Friday October 21st.

PREWORKOUT: Started the morning off with 10 caps and 32oz of water. Followed 20min later with SWPI shake in 8oz water. Started a light sweat about 30min after taking GAKIC and CEE.

WORKOUT: Chest & Tris. Focus was way off, as my son is still adjusting to his first daylight savings time. Workout was interrupted several times for him and for me to poop (I hate that). So today will not be a good judge for the stack. I did hit the weight increases, but fell short on the reps by one or two (could be focus, could be new routine). Muscles felt good and energy was very good. Did not really get into a groove, though.

POST WORKOUT: 1 serving SWPI in 8oz water post wo. Followed with 32oz of Gatorade with 8 caps of Bone Boost.

RESULTS: Energy and endurance were good, but focus was off as was overall feel of the workout. Strength was there for the weight, but not always for the reps. Too early to really tell anything, based upon outside factors.

Dude I feel your pain...having to drop a deuce really screws up a workout. I wonder if GAKIC will live up to any of the hype surrounding it. Haven't really been paying attention to it, but its been flying off the shelves @ the GNC where I work.

Default Tuesday November 1st

PREWORKOUT: Started the morning off with 10 caps and 32oz of water. Followed 20min later with SWPI shake in 8oz water. No light sweat after taking GAKIC and CEE.

WORKOUT: Back & Bis. Focus was off again but not as much. Once again, I did hit the weight increases but fell short on the reps by as much as 3 (half of the 6 reps). I am not liking this routine so far, as I cannot really feel the muscles. Muscles felt good and energy was down from yesterday. Did not really get into a groove, again. Skipped cardio because of time.

POST WORKOUT: 1 serving SWPI in 8oz water post wo. Followed with 32oz of water.

RESULTS: Energy and endurance were good, but focus was off as was overall feel of the workout. Strength was there for the weight, but not always for the reps. Muscle soreness in chest (outer pec area) and in front delts. Not really noticing anything so far.

Default Tuesday November 8th

Due to sciatic issue which is forcing me to drop deadlifts, squats, clean and presses and standing military presses for the time being, I am afraid that I must stop this log. Based upon the original premis of this log, I can not do an accurate test of GAKIC or CEE-Pro.

I apologize to MuscleTech and hope to possibly revisit this test in the future.
