Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | TRIPLE THREAT: BLAP vs ACTIVATE vs POWERFULL (unsponsored) THE PRODUCTS USPLabs PowerFULL Muscle Builder ![]() USPlab's Patent Pending Formula of PureSap(TM)(100% Saponis) and specially extracted Saponis from Muira Puama is a new unbelievable supplement. The science behind PureSap(TM) (100% Saponis) and our specially extracted Muira Puama is brand new to the industry. While Saponis and Muria Puama themselves are not new to the industry, we've revolutionized the way they are extracted and prepared. This results in a product with unrivaled quality and potency. The user will notice effects within 2-7 days of use. The effects of PowerFULL include: • Increase in Muscle Mass • Increase in Fat Loss • Increase in Strength • Increase in Recovery from Exercise • Increase in Quality of Sleep • Increase in Positive Aggression • Increase in Physical Endurance • Increase in Sexual Vigor • Increase in Erection Strength Designer Supplements ActivaTe Increases Free Testosterone ![]() ActivaTe, the brand new muscle enhancing product by Designer Supplements, utilises the natural lignan, Divanil, found in stinging nettle root, to assist you in making the most from your own body's testosterone in order to build muscle mass and reduce body fat. Your body maintains tight control over its own pool of testosterone, allowing some to be active ("free"), while leaving the rest inactive ("bound"). Regardless of the actual amount of total testosterone floating around your body at any one time, this figure could be theoretically doubled or trebled without any significant effect on muscle growth or fat loss; the body would tightly regulate it, only allowing some of it to be active to exert its beneficial effects (or detrimental effects if overused or abused). The rest would remain bound and ineffective for our purposes. The way your body controls testosterone is through a protein called Sex-Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG). This can render upwards of 50% or more of your testosterone pool unable to exert its muscle building effects by attaching to the androgen receptor of the cell. It is through testosterone-to-androgen receptor interaction that protein synthesis is promoted (think muscle growth). ActivaTe cripples SHBG, activating a much larger percentage of your testosterone. With more testosterone activated, your workouts will improve, you will build muscle faster, lose fat easier, and your strength will increase faster than you ever thought possible (without taking exogenous hormones). In addition to improved workouts, you will experience intense pumps, improved recovery, and increased focus. These remarkable benefits, however, are not the only benefit of including ActivaTe into your supplemental regime. Further benefits include: ActivaTe Hightlights: • Increased blood sugar and insulin control for general health and fat loss • Nitric Oxide (NO) boosting • Supports a healthy prostate • Anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory behaviour • Supports healthy cholesterol levels

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | DAY 1 17th July 2006 MAX EFFORT- UPPER BODY SLEEP: Note: Sleep reports will be posted for the night before. Thus today, day one, last nights sleep was the only one during the next 30 days that will be without having taken PowerFULL or ActivaTe that day. Had an awesome night’s sleep, although I woke up still really tired. Had some totally messed up dreams too- which were awesome!! Really confusing- both dreams that I recall were extremely vivid and both centred around food an eating, although in completely different situations. STRENGTH: Solid. Pretty much exactly where I expected. Whilst on this Westside program I’m having to drop a little weight here and there in order to keep up with some of the rep-ranges suggested by the program. But all adjusted were perfectly in-line with what I’d expect. RECOVERY: Interset recovery was phenomenal. This was the fastest that I’ve ripped through a workout in a long time!! No real idea why- perhaps it was because I was less conscious of the clock and worked to my own pace. I think the fact that I took a few days off at the end of last week made me that little bit extra eager today too. AGRESSION: Nothing. ENDURANCE: Nothing to note. If anything I had a painful pump/ burn in my biceps whilst doing my rows which was slightly inhibitive. That being said, between sets I was very quick to recover and eager to swueeze out another set (as noted earlier). LIBIDO: Nothing. PUMPS: Good pumps in my biceps which became almost inhibitive toward the end of each set. Didn’t last too long though. Nice pump I my chest too after some dec db sets but, again, short-lived. Put this mostly down to an increased rep-range I'm still getting used to. ------------------------- THE DAY: Day one. I had a really good workout today and think it was down to a combination of factors- none of which are really related to the supplements I’m using. This training program is still pretty ‘fresh’ to me and I’m still adapting to it. The days I took off at the end of last week also made me extra eager to get into the gym and make the best of it. I know it should be like that every time… but sometimes it just isn’t. One other thing to note- ActivaTe pills absolutely stink!! And the smell gets all over your fingers!!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | DAY 2 18th July 2006 REST THE DAY: The day thus far has been ok- nothing significant to report. The heat seems to be effecting my appetite a little and I’m finding the thought of solid food a little unappealing. Diet still on track nevertheless, albeit a little forced. I’ll also be upping my water intake by a litre plus to compensate a little for this heat-wave, depending on how I feel. Probably an ice cold Diet Coke in there too :o Both chest and back are sore and feeling the effects of yesterdays workout. Chest seems about right, but back is slightly sorer than I would expect. I’m blaming the increased rep-age from yesterday. Arms are fine, despite the super-pump yesterday (which often seems to accompany increased soreness for me). And ActivaTe still smells... but whaddya gonna do?!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | DAY 3 19th July 2006 MAX EFFORT- LOWER BODY SLEEP: Very good, consistant and deep sleep- particularly considering the uncomfortable nightime heat. I woke up very drowsy though and thoroughly unrefreshed… note to self: go to bed earlier… STRENGTH: Solid. Exactly where I would expect in terms of lifts with one major disspointment: deadlifts. I started off with these and things felt great, but at 320lbs I ripped a callus on my right hand wide open, which left no scope for continuing. Up to that point everything felt great though. Lifts afterward also felt nice- although a slightly muddled workout order (some little shit was curling in the squat rack when I wanted to go squat ) meant that I was fatiguing fast on squats with them being relegated to final exercise. A touch of dehydration in the heat probably also played some role in increased fatigue. I was still happy with the weight though, but it could’ve been better.RECOVERY: As just stated, a touch sub-par, undoubtedly because of the effects of the heat. Actually, this didn’t become noticeable until the end of the workout. Prior to that recovery was pretty good. I was suffering my typical ‘omg omg look at that bar, I hate deadlifting’ type hesistation everytime I approached the bar, but physically I was good. AGRESSION: Wow- I snapped today for something very minor, which is very unusual of me. What caused it I’m not sure- candidates are: annoying people, the heat or supplements. Being only day three I’d say options A and B are most likely. We’ll see as the log progresses and the temperatures drop (hopefully). ENDURANCE: Sub par, as noted above. I didn’t hit the cardio today, which was naughty of me. Feeling increased fatigue in my legs and slight dehydration (there’s no fountain in my gym and I guzzled through my 3litres of Xtend flavoured water early) I didn’t feel hitting cardio was a great idea. It also sucks that I’m laying off the pre-workout stims to avoid further issues with the heat. LIBIDO: No change. PUMPS: Hamstring pumps were great, quad pumps were average. Nothing outstanding to report there. I have noticed increased vascularity in my shoulders, which is nice and something I didn’t really notice on my previous USPLabs adventure. My chest is still also looking very full from Mondays workout, which is great and something I did notice last time round on PowerFULL. ------------------------- THE DAY: Hot, uncomfortable, bleh. Workout itself was pretty solid except for right at the end. Had a slight headache pre and during workout too, but that since subsided. Last night I noticed that I have a few small pimples in along the line of my sideburns, which is pretty unusual as I havn’t been prone there since my teens. My skin also feels significantly more greasy- however I’m thinking the heat and increased sweatiness is the culprit. Wish I could say something a little more definitive, but it’s still early.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | DAY 4 20th July 2006 REPETITION- UPPER BODY SLEEP: Great, solid, quality, consistent… pretty much normal. I may stop commenting on this specifically if nothing really changes. STRENGTH: Being a rep day I wasn’t really playing for strength. Either way, nothing significant to report. RECOVERY: Inter-set recovery was excellent. I haven’t noticed any of the ‘lactic buffering’ effects of PowerFULL that I noticed the first time round, meaning I’m really feeling the burn and especially so on rep days. However, I did feel a little quicker to recover between sets. Inter-session reovery seems about average. My upper body was fully recovered from Monday’s workout going into today whilst my legs (hamies in particular) are sore but not cripplingly so. AGRESSION: Positive aggression was very good in the gym. Really kicked into action since I only had a limited time I could spend in the gym but I still managed to get a complete and quality workout done. Actually- I worked so hard to day I was close to puking- which is an extremely rare condition for me to be in during an upper body workout. Maybe one or two sets suffered from slightly cut recovery periods, but overall intensity was definitely up. No signs of any negative aggression. Actually in a great mood all day. ENDURANCE: A tough one. Although I started this program a few weeks ago I’m still finding my feet going in from max effort days to rep days. Gauging appropriate weights can be a little difficult. Anyways, today’s session felt solid but having to significantly drop weight to facilitate higher reps will always hit the ego a little. LIBIDO: No change. PUMPS: Excellent. The best part so far, hand in hand with the muscular fullness. The fullness is on par with what I saw whilst on my complete USPLabs stack, but the pumps are better. Tris, bi sans shoulders all had excellent pumps. I was a little disspointed with my the pumps in my back back until I took my shirt off and saw how full it was looking. Probably the only bodypart which didn’t seem to respond as well was my chest. ------------------------- THE DAY: Overall good workout. Heat is less of a factor, which is great. Ummmm… nothing much else to report. I won’t be doing a lower body repetition day tomorrow- that will have to wait until Saturday since tomorrow I’m off to check out some cools cares and babes at the National Motorshow. Seriously, I’m gonna rob myself a BMW M6 convertible. Will try and post some pics up tomorrow ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | DAY 5 21th July 2006 REST THE DAY: Good day… -ish. Body-wise, things were a little rough. Very early on in the day I noticed my legs were extremely stiff- much more so than yesterday. Spending the day with limited access to liquids in either fully air-conditioned environments or the blazing sun meant that I was really feeling the effects of some dehydration; most significantly manifested in a pounding headache. I managed to get some good meals in, although significantly deviant from my ‘typical’ diet. Best meal of the day was an extortionately priced but amazing tasting portion of fish’n’chips!! And on to the highlight of the day… the Motorshow Cars and shows were amazing. The concept stuff was awesome and my favourite exhibit of the day came from Toyota- which I would never have predicted… EVER!! I also got to see the brand-spanking-new BMW M6 Convertible… *drool* Pics up next…
