Default Rommie's Anti-Tendinitis Flameout Log

I just got a bottle of Biotest's Flameout



Goals of this log:

-To Determine if Flameout is as good as they say it is.
-To get rid of my tendinitis pain with Flameout. Tendinitis is a chronic inflammation, and Flameout claims to help get rid of inflammation.


I have already taken 3 of the 4 daily recommended Flameout pills. First thing to note is they are HUGE. Not hard to swallow, but bigger then I expected. Second thing was I was getting a bit of fish oil burps, not much but a few.

These gave me terrible burps and yes they are big. The stuff is great, but I switched to ON's enteric coated pills and I haven't had the slightest aftertaste. I was able to take Flameout at night before I went to sleep without issues.

Someone mentioned ON's stuff in supplements section and I just had to give it a shot.

looking @ the ingredients in ON's Fish Oil, and it has more EPA then DHA. the info @ t-nation suggests that men need more DHA, and thus I will be trying to deduce if the extra DHA over EPA is better for inflammation control.

I've had worse burps, these are manageable

it might be for the MUSCLE, but when my JOINT and tendons are aching, its no good.

My knee flared up a bit @ work today, no idea why. Had a really nasty fish oil burp today. Almost gagged. I was enjoying my nice banana and then it hit me. Left me stranded it did.

Been taking the 4 pills a day, my knee feels ok, still has its bouts of annoyingness. I still need a few more weeks to see if it works well or not.

yesterday my chiro examined the knee, and said its not swollen anymore. Today it didn't hurt at all, so I'm happier then pig in shit. :-D

Flameout is a great product, but for this very reason I couldn't take it anymore.

I now can consume 6-8 a day without ANY aftertaste using ON's enteric coated fish caps.

Glad to hear the knee is feeling a bit better.

I deal with it, its not terrible. Definitly had worse so I'm not having a terrible problem with it.

I haven't had any knee pain since the last post. I'm definitely buying another bottle and will even up fish and flax I will take with it. It seems to work better with more. I'm looking at hitting 20g a day of omega3's. I'm currently hitting ~12 w/ just adding flax seed oil. I plan on running this for a long time :-D

Finished what was left of my bottle today.


Final thoughts:

Flameout definitely is strong and a good supplement, but its not the be-all-end-all of fish oil supplements. I would suggest taking it with 4-5g of fish oil and flax seed oil each along with the flameout, as flameout is expensive.
