Default Marlon's Ergopharm Cell Fuel Log

ErgoPharm Presents:
Cell Fuel
Anabolic Creatine Matrix!

Cell Fuel ™

Cell Fuel is a breakthrough product that contains the most effective form of creatine available, in addition to two completely novel ingredients designed for its synergistic potentiation.

Cell Fuel combines creatine ethyl ester (the “king of creatines”) with a closely related compound called phosphocreatinine (PCn). PCn is supported by dozens of research papers and patents spanning decades that demonstrate its efficacy in supporting cellular energy, muscle strength and muscle growth. It appears to work with creatine in the muscle to support its rephosphorylation – making the creatine in your muscles much more effective!!

Cell Fuel also contains the “Russian anabolic secret” - 6-Methyluracil (6-MU). 6-MU serves many functions in the body, one of the most important being synthesis and repair of DNA and RNA. 6-MU finally addresses this woefully neglected aspect of muscle repair and growth and is supported by vast research demonstrating muscle growth, healing of wounds, even increased cognitive function!

Bottom line? Cell Fuel is the real deal and stands unmatched in the crowded sea of gimmicky creatine formulas. Hey, it’s what you have come to expect from ErgoPharm!

Supplement Facts:

Serving Size: 6 Caplets
Servings Per Container: 30

Amount Per Serving:

Creatine Ethyl Ester 5g
6-Methyluracil 1g
Disodium Phosphocreatinine 1g

Other Ingredients:
Gum arabic, croscarmellose sodium, cellulose, talc, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate.

Directions: Take 6 caplets daily, 30 minutes prior to workout.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Introduction
Name: Marlon
Age: 18
Height: 5'7''
Weight: 168 lbs
Bodyfat: 12% (3-point caliper, i dont think its right)
Bodytype: Ecto-meso

Diet
I am currently bulking. I am reaching 4000 calories/day and ~300g protein/day. Fats come from EFA's, olive oil, dairy products, etc. Much of the carbs come from oats and rice.

Supplement History
From when i first began...
GNC Whey Protein
GNC Creatine Monohydrate
BSN Cell Mass
BSN NO-Xplode
ON Whey Protein
Fishoil
Controlled Labs Green Bulge
Controlled Labs White Blood
HP CEE
Scivation Xtend
X Factor (21 days, cut short due to fever)

Training Split
Day 1: Chest
Day 2: Back
Day 3: Shoulders
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: Legs
Day 6: Arms
Day 7: Rest

Duration of Log
30 servings, 30 days.

Goal of Log
  • Gain some strength
  • Surpass 170lbs mark and get to 172lbs or 173lbs
  • Look Sexy

Note: I have read many of other logs, however this is my first one, so bear with me. I want to try to provide honest and unbias information on this product. I have tried a couple of creatines. I did not respond to creatine monohydrate. Then, i was n00b and bought Cell Mass. Cell Mass gave me good results, but it is too expensive. I was then further educated by different forums. I read reviews and tried the GB/WB stack. Green bulge/White blood w/ bulk CEE postworkout did not do anything amazing for me despite the rave reviews. I have gotten the same results taking bulk CEE standalone. I am looking forward to Cell Fuel, especially because of Ergopharm's reputation of quality products, and I want to see how the Disodium Phosphocreatine and 6-Methyluracil (6-MU) will affect me.

Wish me luck!
I will post my first day on it later in a couple hours. Let me know if I'm missing anything :p I will also post some pics if I'm not feeling shy lol.

Note: This should have been posted yesterday. Man, these pills are kinda big and have a funny taste to them. Nothing to really cry over though. I would rather down a sweet glass of cellmass or those soft GB pills, but this isnt much of a big deal.

I will be going to the gym tonight and will post Day 5.

I'm sure they are pretty big considering how much CEE is in one serving.

Note: My diet was extra perfect today and Damn awesome workout today too! I felt a great pump and was extra excited about the workout. Last week i was used 55lbs for my flat DB presses, and 45lbs for my incline and decline, but i felt extra strong today and upped the weight. Felt great! Cell Fuel? who knows... lets see if this feeling is consistent. I wonder how back day will be tomorrow

Default Log Day 6

Back/Biceps Day

Today was fun. My training partner made a bet I couldn't do 50 pull ups within 7 sets... he was right . I'm so n00b... Oh well... now onto the workout!

Wide Grip Pull-up: Bodyweight x 12,10,7,5,3,3,2
Wide Grip Lat Pulldown: 1 Sets @ 108lbs x 20, 2 Sets @ 120lbs x 12
Straight Arm Pulldown: 3 Sets @ 36lbs x 12
T-Bar Rows: 3 Sets @ 90lbs x 12
Smith Machine Bent Over Rows: 3 Sets @ 115lbs x 12
Seated DB Curls(2 sec squeeze): 3 Sets @ 25lbs x 8

Note: Workout was decent. I had the usual so-so pump. The T-bar rows and Lat-pulldowns felt especially good however. My reps on the T-bar rows usually descend at that weight from 12, 10, then 8 but I was able to keep it consistent at 12 reps. Good workout overall. Seems that my strength is going up a little as well.

Default Log Day 7

Shoulder/Trap Day

DB Shoulder Press: 4 Sets @ 40lbsx12, 45lbsx12, 50lbsx10, 50lbsx10
Lateral Raises, Drop Sets: 3 Sets @ 25x10 & 20x10, 25x10 & 8x10, 25x8 & 20x8
Cable Rear Delt Fly: 3 Sets @ 12lbs x 10,10,8
BB Shrugs: 3 Sets @ 185x10
DB Shrugs: 3 Sets @ 60lbsx10

Note: Ughhhh I hate shoulder days . This is mainly because by the time I am at my third exercise, I start to have a pain in my shoulder between my front delt and my middle delt. I warm up properly and do my rotator cuff exercises before, however it has only helped a little bit since i started. Anyways... the workout was good. I felt strong on the DB shoulder presses and it was the first time I got to do 10 reps on the 50lb DBs .

Today was my dad's birthday so i went to Famous Dave's and finished me a whole slab of ribs. I feel FAT... but it was so worth it...

Default 1 Week Review

The After 1 Week Review: I feel great! A lot of my lifts went up a couple of reps or a couple of pounds since last week's workouts. This may be a placebo effect, however I will see if this continues. I am still at 168lbs though. As of 1 week, comparing other creatine products, I am enjoying Cell Fuel the most. I haven't felt a similar increase in strength with BSN's Cellmass, HP CEE, or Controlled Labs Green Bulge that I am feeling with Cell Fuel. Is it the 6-Mu? PCn? Placebo? Only time will tell the difference between placebo and CellFuel... Now onto week 2!

Default Log Day 8

Leg Day

BB Squat: 3 Sets @ 225x6
Leg Press: 3 Sets @ 270x15, 320x15, 320x20
Seated Leg Curl: 3 sets @ 120x12, 135x12, 150x10
Leg Extension: 3 Sets @ 150x12, 165x12, 180x10
Donkey Calf Raise(toes normal/in/out): 2 Sets @ 180x12

Note: Great workout! Kind of disappointed I didn't have a chance to do more hamstrings. My partner had to leave and he drove . Anyways, today's workout was different from last week's. I used higher reps on the leg press and they felt NICE. On the BB squat, I felt strong and got through them good. Unfortunately, I had a cramp in my right calf as I flexed it after my first set of Calf Raises, which inhibited me from doing more. Maybe I'll work them in an extra day some time.

Today, I did not feel the same strength as I have been in my other days. I expected more, but it was just okay. Workout was good though .

Just an extra note that I am not yet feeling any extra muscle fullness or tightness.

Weight: 170.5lbs ** +2.5lbs? Probably just water. Or maybe the ribs from yesterday lol :p

Default Log Day 9

Arm Day

Oh the DOMS from legs yesterday and the numbness of this arm workout feels sooo nice...

Incline DB Curls: 3 Sets @ 30x8
EZ-Bar Curls: 3 Sets @ 75x12, 95x5, 75x10

Skull Crushers: 3 Sets @ 75x12, 95x5, 75x12
Tricep Pulldowns: 3 Sets @ 96x12, 108x12, 116x10

Superset:
Seated DB Curls(2 sec hold): 3 Sets@ 20x12
Overhead DB Tricep Extension(2 sec hold): 3 Sets @ 20x12

Note: Great workout again! Something to note is that my skull crushers reps @ 95lbs went down from last week, so I had to lower the weight. The seated DB curls felt especially nice and gave me a good burn at the end of the workout. I really need to do something about my biceps, they are so lacking.

Now today was different compared to the days last week. My arms were BLOWN UP! I don't think my arms ever looked so big while working out. This may be the muscle fullness part of CellFuel kicking in for me. Me like!

Weight: Just to check again to see if yesterday's 170.5lbs was a fluke... I weighed 171lbs today! 3 pounds from last week? Weird. Maybe I forgot to pee.

Chest Day

DB BP: 4 Sets @ 60x12,10,10,10
DB Incline BP: 3 Sets @ 55x10,9,9
DB Decline BP: 3 Sets @ 55x12,9,7
Machine Fly: 3 Sets @ 115x12, 130x10, 145x10

Note: Despite feeling like I had to throw up the whole time I was working out (I was so gassy and I kept burping up fishoil taste ), the workout felt great. Not too much of a change since last week in terms of reps and strength. I did go up with my incline and decline presses, but failed more than I wanted to. I guess I was not ready for them.

Anyways, after the workout i took a look at my chest and it was awesome. I am noticing much better muscle fullness than I usually do after a workout on regular CEE.

I also want to note that all weekend, after my Arm workout on friday, my arms felt fuller and thicker, and still do. Feels great!

Weight: 170lbs I seem to be on a solid 170 now which is great.

DESPITE THE SERVER PROBLEMS I WILL PERSIST WITH MY LOG!!!!

Back Day

Pull Up: 3 Sets @ bodyweightx10, 8, 5
Wide Grip Lat Pull Down: 3 Sets @ 108lbsx12,10 96lbsx12
Straight Arm Pull Down: 3 Sets @ 36lbsx12
Dead Lifts: 4 Sets @ 135x12, 225x8, 225x8, 225x8
Tbar Rows: 3 Sets @ 90x12, 100x12, 110x12

Note: Today kind of sucked. Last night, I was only able to sleep like 3-4 hours because of studying for a Bio test . I definately felt it in my workout. The pull ups/pull down were extra hard. However, after them, I did better on my deadlifts than I usually do. 8 reps @ 225 felt pretty good, since I usually am able to get 6. My Tbar rows also went up.

Chest still looking huge

DOMS is pretty bad on my chest since yesterday. And my legs are finally losing their soreness from last week. As of now, I do not feel any extra quickness in recovery on my workouts. Currently, I would compare recovery on this creatine as good as I recovered on HPCEE. Recovery on Cellfuel would be better than GreenBulge, which I hardly felt anything. I felt that on CellMass and, I recovered much better, but we will see how this turns out later.

Cable Rear Delt Raise: 3 Sets @ 12x12, 12x12, 24x10
Upright Row: 3 Sets @ 45x12, 55x12, 55x12 (first time doing them since my shoulder did not hurt )
BB Shrugs: 3 Sets @ 155x12, 175x12, 175x12
DB Shrugs 3 Sets @ 65x12

Note: Everything felt great today! First time in a loonnngg time I didnt have that shoulder pain . I think the 3x/week rotator cuff exercises are working finally. Anyways the workout was good. My strength definately went up on my BB shoulder presses, I have not done that much weight before. I usually stick to 95lbs, but I hit 12 reps easy so I moved up.

I also want to note that my triceps looked extra beefy today during the workout . This muscle fullness is definately a plus.

Weight: 170 Still a solid 170.

Default The 2 Week Review

The 2 Week Review
Just quoting the 1 week review:
Quote:

My lifts have gone up and definately not placebo, as I may have suspected from last week. I would still say I am enjoying Cell Fuel the most. As I said in an earlier post made today(pretty much sums up my feelings toward Cell Fuel):

Quote:
As of now, the muscle fullness and strength increase have been better than Cellmass, HPCEE, GB, and monohydrate (which are the creatines I have tried). However, as of now(still has a chance to change),Cellmass has given me better results in recovery, and HPCEE has given me similar recovery time.
Muscle Fullness: Fuller.
Strength Increase: Most of my lifts have gone up, either in reps or weight.
Recovery: Okay. Comparable to regular CEE.

WEEK 3 LET'S GO!!!

Default Log Day 15

Leg Day

1/2 Way through the log!

Hack Squats:4 Sets @ 180x12, 270x12, 330x12, 330x10
Leg Press: 3 Sets @ 450x12 (Damn these were nuts)
DB Romanian DL: 3 Sets @ 55x12
Donkey Calf Raise(Toes straight/out/in): 3 Sets @ 90x12

Note: Wow this workout was... I dont know. The leg presses really got me pumped. I really pushed myself hard to get 12 reps on each set, which I have never done before. After that exercise, I honestly wanted to throw up for the rest of the time working out. But damn THEY FELT GREAT. Also, note to self, don't drink preworkout shake 10 minutes before working out.

Strength, especially on the squats and leg presses, was definately up today. And I saw a vein in my calf!
