Default johnsbod’s Designer Supplements-Rebound XT Log

I’m going to be using Designer Supplements Rebound XT as part of a cutting diet in an effort to help keep more lean muscle mass during the cut. I won’t be posting diet or specific workouts in this log, but I will be logging my weight and performance in the gym throughout, and when I'm finished I'll post my changes in body measurements. My goal is to lose 2 lbs per week. I'm going to start taking Rebound tomorrow and will post my current weight then.

Age: 31

Goal Weight (end of cut, not end of this log): 210

Bodybuilding Experience: Off and on for 18 years, getting serious again about diet and training in the last year.

Training Schedule:
  • Sunday-off
  • Monday-chest, biceps, forearms, abs
  • Tuesday-cardio
  • Wednesday-legs, shoulders
  • Thursday-cardio
  • Friday-back, triceps, abs
  • Saturday-low intensity cardio

Other Supplements I’m Currently Taking:
Product Information: Rebound XT™, which contains the ingredient Diene-3™, can be used either as the core of a post (pro)hormone cycle therapy (PCT) plan, or as a stand-alone, to raise/restore natural testosterone levels and decrease estrogen levels. For best use, combine it with Lean Xtreme™ for a well-rounded PCT Stack that lowers estrogen, controls cortisol, and boosts natural testosterone production, or with ActivaTe™ to make up the heralded NHA Stack™ - the remarkable non-hormonal, mass-building, anabolic stack.





Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 1-3 capsules per day. Multiple doses should be divided evenly throughout the day. For optimal absorption take with a meal/shake containing fat. If the initial effects are too strong discontinue use for a few days and restart at a lower dose.

Ingredients: 3,17-Dioxoetioallocholan-1,4,6-triene.

Other Ingredients: Maltodextrin, Gelatin, Silicon Dioxide and Magnesium Stearate

Dosage: The recommended dosage is 1-3 capsules daily, and I will be using the following dosages:
  • weeks 1-3 -->2 capsules per day
  • week 4 until bottle is gone -->1 capsule per day

Post Day 1

Day 1

Dosage: I took my first tablet at lunch today with a meal containing fats (olive oil, fish oil, and natural peanut butter) and will take the other before bed tonight with the same.

Starting Weight: 238

Diet: As I said in my first post, I’m not going to be posting my daily food intake. I’m going to be shooting for a 50/30/20 Protein/Carb/Fat ratio in my diet due to my carb sensitivity. The directions for Rebound XT also tell you to take it with a fatty meal. Once a week I’ll be consuming maintenance calories to keep my metabolism from grinding to a halt during my cut. My diet will consist primarily of:
  • Boneless-skinless chicken breast
  • Lean Cuts of Beef
  • Tuna
  • Oats
  • Brown Rice
  • Whole Grain Wheat Bread
  • Salad Greens
  • Broccoli (and some other veggies)
  • Natural Peanut Butter
  • Fat Free Cottage Cheese
  • Olive Oil for Cooking/Salads

Comments: During the first 3 weeks when I’m taking 2 capsules per day I’ll be taking 1 late-morning/lunchtime and the other before bedtime. I can’t wait to hit the gym this week, and see if this is going to help my cut.

it was for me. At 75mg a day i was limp... It took a week or two before my erections were back to normal. I'm going to be doing a round of rebound soon. Did I learn my lesson about high dosing? no

Day 2

Weight: 237

Dosage: I took my first dose with an early lunch today (11AM) since I workout around 1:30PM most days. On workout days I'm going to have to do this since it needs to be taken with a meal containing fats for optimal results. Second dose before bed tonight.

Comments: I didn't notice any extra strength in the gym today, but I did make slight improvements on all my lifts. Normally when I'm on a cutting diet I lose some strength, at the very least several reps on my lifts. So far no side effects, but I'm sure it's too early to tell since I'm only on Day 2. I was down 1 lb today which made me pretty happy.

I have my diet structured so that I am running a 7000 calorie deficit over 6 days with 1 day eating maintenance, so the 1 lb drop so quickly was unexpected. Maybe it's the effect on cortisol?
Grad student ---> stress
Divorce ---> stress
Stress ---> cortisol
Cortisol ---> fat
Grad student + Recent Divorce = Me ---> cortisol ---> midsection fat

Water weight That's why the scale is an inaccurate means of determining progress. The only thing losing water weight confirms is that you are indeed in a calorie defecit (or at least ingesting less sodium than usual)

Probably true to some extent, but I've been in a caloric deficit for about 2 weeks leading up to this.

Day 3

Weight: 235

Dosage: I took my first dose around noon today, taking the other before bed tonight.

Comments: I think Rebound is already having an effect on my midsection. My pants already seemed looser and the stubborn "love handles" that I have already seem a bit smaller. Normally that's the last part of my body that I lose fat. It must be the effect Rebound has on cortisol, but I certainly didn't expect to be down 2 lbs this morning. I'm sure this will slow down as I continue the cycle, but I'll take what I can get!

Today is normally a cardio day for me, but I'm going to have to settle for a brisk walk later tonight. It's too hot to run, and unfortunately we have a home football game tonight which means I can't get anywhere near the rec center to workout.

Comments: I have a pretty accurate digital scale and I actually lost .4 lbs today, but I'm just going by whole numbers. I felt MUCH stronger in the gym today which was unexpected. On Monday I didn't feel much different, but all my lifts were up today and I could have done more weight on all of them. I'm looking forward to my Friday workout to see what I can do on deads.

I welcome all comments on this log (as long as they don't debate why I'm using Rebound to help cut ).

Weight: 234

Comments: Cardio day today, no weights. Muscle recovery from leg day was good, and the numbers on the scale keep going down.

I can't wait for back day tomorrow. After the increased strength I experienced on Wednesday I'm looking forward to doing some heavy deadlifts tomorrow.
