Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | ![]() Melting Point™ by Designer Supplements Designer Supplements is proud to present the last fat burning product you will ever need – Melting Point™. The secret behind Melting Point™ is LipidAce™, an ingenious Modified Fatty-Acid Complex. LipidAce™ accelerates the rate at which your body metabolises body fat while sparing muscle tissue, getting you leaner than you ever imagined, faster than you would believe. How Does the Body Burn Fat? The body makes use of stored fat for fuel under conditions of restricted food intake – when the overall calorie expenditure exceeds that of the total calories you eat on a daily basis. There are two steps in the process of losing fat. The first step is to liberate the fat from the fat stores, putting it into the bloodstream and making it available for energy. The second is using this liberated fat for energy to fill the caloric deficit. In addition to the typical method of fat-loss, described (very) briefly above, the body can also use fat to essentially "waste" energy to generate heat, for example, when you are cold. This is independent of your calorie intake, but under usual conditions does not account for a significant amount of fat loss. Melting Point™ is not usual, however. Some fat-burners on the market effectively liberate fat, but you will still need to burn the fat through cardio and a reduced diet. A scant few are effective at burning the fat, once liberated. And even less are effective at doing both; at least at a rate that you will notice. Melting Point™, however, fills the gap created by the dearth of products that do both, and effectively and efficiently releases your stored fat into the bloodstream, and increases your base metabolic rate to burn that fat. Moreover, there are no dietary supplements that are effective at wasting energy – that is burning up calories on its own. None that is, until Melting Point™. Introducing Melting Point™ Melting Point™ assists your fat loss endeavours on multiple levels. Not only will it liberate fat from your fat stores, but it will increase your body’s efficiency at burning fat. It does this by increasing both the “mini-furnaces” present in the cell that are responsible for burning fat, and by increasing the fat burning enzymes that assist these furnaces. Lastly, as you probably have surmised, it also increases fat usage by promoting the proteins in the cell responsible for “wasting” energy. On top of these remarkable fat burning effects, it promotes general health by boosting the immune system, improving blood flow, exerting anti-inflammatory effects and promoting healthy cholesterol. Because Melting Point™ purely promotes fat liberating and fat burning, your hard-earned muscle tissue is spared. The effect Melting Point™ has can also improve insulin sensitivity, which will create a more anabolic environment for muscle building - particularly during carb loading or refeeding. In short, Melting Point™ will: - Increase the number of "fat burning units" - Increase channelling of fat to these "fat burning units” and enzyme concentrations - Promote energy (calorie) "wasting" - Increase insulin sensitivity, boost the immune system, and improve blood flow - Promote healthy cholesterol levels - Increase metabolic rate and causes dramatic fat loss The extended write-up for Melting Point™ goes into more detail about how the body burns fat and specifically how Melting Point™ dramatically assists your efforts. click on it above to download it today Melting Point™ and LipidAce™ are registered trademarks of Designer Supplements. ![]() ---- ![]() Basic Cuts™ by Designer Supplements BASIC CUTS™ is a thermogenic fat burner designed to meet the needs of the premier athlete. It offers a wealth of effects including mental and physically stimulation, along with significant mood elevation. However, its primary effect is as a very potent fat burner. It achieves this with a quartet of synergistic ingredients included for their pronounced effects on fat oxidation and each other! Phenylethylamine & Hordenine Phenylethylamine (PEA) exerts a stimulatory effect in the brain through its effect on the beta-adrenergic and dopamine receptors. Through these mechanisms, PEA not only increases attention and activity but can also elevate mood significantly. And of course, significantly promote the use of fat for fuel. Hordenine is included in BASIC CUTS™ in order to make PEA orally bioavailable. It does this by inhibiting the enzyme MAO-B, and as consequence, dopamine activity is also prolonged. During dieting, dopamine is of particular importance because it is generally theorized to be the body’s means of communication between the brain and the anti-starvation hormone Leptin. Additionally, dopamine is also associated with nutrient partitioning, mood, appetite and a whole host of other biochemical functions. Cayenne Pepper & Caffeine Cayenne pepper rapidly boosts metabolic rate and promotes carbohydrate oxidation during exercise and at rest. This means increased calorie burning and fat loss. Cayenne also assists in appetite suppression, something that can become a critical factor for even the most strong-willed dieter. It also has a synergistic quality for reducing food intake and increasing energy expenditure in combination with the final ingredient in the profile – caffeine. Caffeine acts in the brain by antagonizing (blocking) adenosine A1 and A2A receptors, inhibiting the breakdown of Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate (cAMP). Adenosine typically slows nerve cell activity, initiating a relaxed type of environment similar to the state experienced during sleep. By antagonizing adenosine, this effect is in fact reversed and nerve cell activity is increased, leading to fat burning and stimulation. Stacking BASIC CUTS™ While diet and cardio are still the king and queen of fat loss, BASIC CUTS™ can be added as a stand-alone or in conjunction with Melting Point™ and/or Lean Xtreme™ to accelerate results. BASIC CUTS™ and Designer Stackables™ are registered trademarks of Designer Supplements. ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | Age: 22 Height: 5'8" Weight: 225.0 (Expecting this to drop about 5 pounds before the start of the log.) Brief Bio: I have been lifting since high school for baseball, but after a car accident I ballooned up to 280+ pounds due to inactivity. At the beginning of 2005 I got my diet in check and lifting a lot more seriously than I ever had before. After my quad was torn I was unable to run nonetheless play baseball, but I may be walking on at UGA next season if I can get back in good enough shape by fall. If so, I'll have some substances I won't use to get rid of. :p I'm also looking for a way before picture of me during Christmas of 2004 to show my progress. It was on my computer before it crashed, but I'm sure my mom still has it somewhere. Training: DC Training Monday - Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Back Width, Back Thickness Tuesday - Biceps, Forearms, Calves, Hamstrings, Quads Wednesday - OFF Thursday - Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Back Width, Back Thickness Friday - Biceps, Forearms, Calves, Hamstrings, Quads Saturday, Sunday - OFF Ab/core work done on off days. Cardio: 20 minutes of HIIT 4-5 times a week (usually Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and sometimes Wednesday.) I also play full court basketball a lot, but I'll still do HIIT whether or not I play. Diet: I'm on a carb cycling diet and this will be the third time I've started using it. I lose about two pounds a week (with the exception of the first - I almost always lose about 5). The carb schedule I use is.. No,Low,No,High,No,No,High. On workout days where I have no carbs, I have oats immediately post workout, but that's all I have. I keep Protein and [good] Fats high throughout with a slight decrease in fats on High Carb days. Supplements: Multi Melting Point [2 caps, 3 times a day] Basic Cuts [2 caps, 2 times a day] Taurine [3 grams a day] Substance WPI Watermelon ********** Chocolate WPC Goal: I have no number I'd like to reach weight-wise, I'd just like to lose fat and [attempt to] retain LBM. The only way for me to take progress pictures is with my camera phone that has no way of connecting to my computer. It costs money to email them to myself, so I'll only be taking 6 (2 before, 2 halfway through, 2 after). I'll post them at the end of the log unless everyone really wants to see my hairy self really bad. :p I'll be taking MP+BC from April 10 to May 10, but I'll keep the log going a little longer because of the water I hear you hold from TTA. I ran the Beta Melting Point, but the first run the dosage wasn't set in stone and I ran it at 4 caps/day to little (if any) effect. I haven't used a stim in probably a month, but I don't expect much as I'm pretty stim resistant. If there's any thing else you guys; particulary DS reps/staff, would like to know, I'm all ears. Figured I'd get this up early in case I've missed anything.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | Well, I can't find the picture I was looking for from Christmas of 2004, but I found another where I'm just a big. It's a little misleading because I definitely look a lot bigger in the face than I did everywhere else, but it's the best I can do. I didn't shave a lot at that time, because I was really embarassed to be seen by anyone and didn't do much of anything until I started exercising and getting lean(ish) again. Sheesh, that should be my background so I feel inspired everyday. :p The second is a picture from last week.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | I decided I'd post my befores now, even though I wasn't planning on it. I was going to do it sooner or later, might as well now. I lost Photoshop when I had to reformat my computer, so I had to do crop/resize with paint. I feel like a computer newbie for doing it. :p Erg, the love handles have have returned (and by returned, I mean they're still there like they were a long just bigger, heh) during my bulk. Time to fix that. I'll update at the end of the night with my first day's experiences. Oh, and warning because of my Irish blood there's quite a bit of hair on me. :p Edit: I just noticed there was a DS T-shirt in my order, awesome! Maybe because I got 2 MPs, 2 BCs, 1 LX, and 1 GXR. ![]()
