Approx 115lbs 2) Summer 2002, 21 years old. A couple of months of noobie lifting (dumbbells under my bed). Still concentrating on running (mainly non-competitive). Approx 125lbs 3) Summer/Autumn 2003, 22 years old. Still noobie lifting, much less focus on running. Pics taken in the middle of the Indian Ocean at the end of a long summer working out there. Virtually zero water on me- drinking around a litre of water a day (my own stupidity). My lowest adult weight approx 110-115lbs 4) Summer 2004, 23 years old. Taking lifting more seriously. Training consistently. Diet an unknown quantity. Hadn’t quite fully figured that part out yet, but starting to work on it. Probably 140-145lbs, not sure exactly. 5) Spring 2006, 25 years old. Diet been in check for about 18 months. Gaining slowly but surely. 170lbs (to the nearest half lb!!).

I've never done DC, but I will say this; I love the Spytech program thus far. Honestly, it's worth a go sometime, even if you chose the DC over it. Can't wait to get into Phase 2 but I decided to run an extra mini-cycle of 4 weeks ontop of the original 8 weeks of Phase 1 because it overlapped into this log- and I wanted to keep training as consistant as possible. Another big bonus is you have Spytech on hand should you have any questions :nosthumbs

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | DAY 36 8th May 2006 Shoulders, Triceps, Chest (Load week- 22 sets, 9 sets to failure) ADDITIONAL DAILY SUPPLEMENTS: 6g CEE 6g Citrulline Malate 10g Leucine BCAA’s (2 servings Xtend) SLEEP: Pretty solid’ night’s sleep. Really couldn’t ask for a much better night. Went to sleep within 15 minutes as usual, and once I was out I was out. Something about tonight felt a little different than most other nights. I normally seem to get a great, deep sleep but something about tonight’s felt so much deeper. I’m very curious to see exactly what (if anything) will change once the REM-R3G is included. Dreams were vivid, and really very sexual in nature. Woooo! Zero difficulty I getting up in the morning. STRENGTH: Pretty solid. Everything felt very solid- and I’ve definitely gotten the fire back for shoulder training after a good session last week- which is indescribably great!! I really pushed myself today with the db presses, and it worked out fairly well. With hindsight I could’ve used a little more rest between pressing sets, but it still worked out fine. Military presses after db presses were surprisingly strong, which I was greatly pleased by. No PR on the shoulder sets, however I did set a PR on the Hammer Strength dip machine, which was cool but really really difficult because it’s not a machine designed for short people!! Overall impressed with solid progress, but nothing explosive. RECOVERY: Came into the week with no niggles or injuries or soreness. I was slightly worried about my left wrist after last week so I wrapped that up for today’s session. It seems that shoulder exercises in particular aggravate my tiny pathetic wrists- especially heavy lateral raises (well, 50lbs, which is heavy for me). Throughout the day my wrist felt ok, maybe a little aggravated. By the end of the day I realised I had done a touch of damage, which is slightly disappointing. I’m thinking a very very minor sprain. Won’t be putting my wrist in any real position of trouble until Friday, so hopefully it’ll be cleared up by them. Looks like the strapping stays. AGRESSION: No real change throughout the day. I did notice that about halfway through my workout I was immensely energized, focused and determined in my workout- much more so than when I started. So I think I’m going to try the C2 a little earlier than the other supps and see if I can coordinate this feeling with sometime earlier in my session. ENDURANCE: Pretty good. Today’s session took a little longer than I had anticipated, probably since I was working to failure and was recovering from more working sets. I dunno. As has become the norm (and as I would expect), the recovery for the bigger compound presses was higher than for other sets, but recovery for both was good. Still no significant ‘burn’ or feeling of fatigue other than wghat I could actually see with my eyes ie my muscles didn’t feel fatigued, but they showed the signs. LIBIDO: Lower end of ‘normal’. ENERGY/FOCUS: As stated, the second half of my workout was excellent for focus, energy and shear determination. I felt great- the C2 really seemed to kick in around 60 minutes after taking it. All day I felt good. Driven, motivated and happy. PUMPS: Tricep pumps were great. No amazing, I’ve had better but very solid and long living. There wasn’t so much a pump in my shoulders and chest but they were looking very solid and full most of the day- particularly my shoulders. Very impressive in this regard. SWEATINESS/THERMO EFFECTS: I was absolutely pouring with sweat today- which was good. Weather had tempered slightly and the high intensity of the session combined with the extra C2 undoubtedly added to the effect. Particularly distinguished ‘thermal effect’ with the nigh time dose. ------------------------- THE DAY: Good day all in all. Excellent workout, hit all the numbers I wanted to and felt great afterwards. Real sense of accomplishment after this one. The one thing that pissed me off a little was my wrist. It’s annoying that at a measly 170lbs my body is already falling apart to a degree. I’m not sure what I can do about it at the moment other than strap it up and let it rest. I’m loving the fact that I seem to be able to push my shoulders hard at the moment without suffering impingent issues. That’s really motivating.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | Apologies for not updating this last week. Also had some rep ‘work’ to take care of and my Dad was also hospitalized (nothing life-threatening but potentially serious) I got a little busy toward the end of last week. I also had to take a couple of days off from updating of I would’ve driven myself crazy with these updates!! I’m back now DAY 37 9th May 2006 Rest Day --------------------------- DAY 38 10th May 2006 Legs, Calves (Load week- 18 sets, 7 sets to failure) --------------------------- DAY 39 11th May 2006 Rest Day --------------------------- DAY 40 12th May 2006 Back, Traps, Forearms, Biceps (Load week- 22 sets, 9 sets to failure) --------------------------- DAYS 41 & 42 13th & 14th May 2006 Rest Days --------------------------- SLEEP: Very good. This last week has been great for sleep- a little too good probably!! One thing I havn’t noticed whist on REM-R3G is feeling particularly drowsy or tired before I go to bed. Everything in that department seems perfectly ‘normal’. It still takes me 15 minutes to get to sleep, which is fine by me. On the other hand once I’m out it’s a very weird thing. The only way I can describe it is like falling into a black hole. I wake up and I don’t feel like I’ve been just asleep, I feel like I’ve been completely and utterly out of it. Hard to describe. The dreams are more vivid, although the nature of the dreams hasn’t really changed. STRENGTH: Strength gains have been solid through the week. Still nothing explosive but steady progress. The thing I’m most impressed with is that I haven’t hit a plateau in any single exercise thus far- but a large part of that will be due to my training program. Nevertheless, I’m still impressed. Most impressive increases in strength happened with my SLDL’s, which I pushed up by 10lbs this week and actually felt more comfortable doing than last week. I pushed up my deadlifts also this week by a menial amount. Military presses were also very comfortable. All in all a solid week. RECOVERY: No real change either way. I’m just as sore after a workout as I would expect to be with no real change there. Possibly with two exceptions; lower back and biceps. The day after hitting a great few sets of deadlifts my lower back was pretty (unusually) sore. This was really strange and would’ve put me out of action for a day if I wasn’t already the weekend. My biceps were also pretty sore the day after my workout. All day I also noticed that my left bi got very uncomfortable and ‘knotted’ whenever I tried to flex it. That’s usually a sign of an intense workout with more stretching required, and subsided after a day. My wrist still isn’t 100%- I have a feeling I’m still suffering from a minor sprain there. I was still able to have good workouts but I think I’ll need to strap it up again before my next shoulder/chest/tri workout to be safe. Hitching up dumbbells into position seems to be the antagonist here. Shoulders feel great. No reoccurrence of impingement issues thus far. I will be pushing it to the limit in the upcoming week so let’s hope things stay the same. One other thing. I think I’ve done some minor muscle damage under my ribs/abdomen- probably a mild strain. I was trying to re-rack the squat bar on the awkwardly placed pins (awkward for short people) and I ended up straining something. Seems I’m doing a little damage to myself generally with dealing with some increased strength and endurance. AGRESSION: No real/noticeable change. ENDURANCE: Very good. After a couple of ‘lax’ sessions I really pushed the intensity and drove down rest periods again. On both leg and back day this really paid off and allowed me to pound out a couple of great workouts, and get some good cardio in too at the end of it all. One thing I will say- this stack does a great job of ‘lactic acid buffering’ but when it comes to the stepper machine nothing can get rid of the burn in my quads!! LIBIDO: As the past couple of days- lower end of normal. I’ve noticed the past couple of days my ‘morning glory’ has disappeared. That’s a little odd. ENERGY/FOCUS: Workouts have all been pretty intense. In-gym focus has been very good, and I’ve really noticed it kick in about 45-60 minutes after I take my C2, so I’ve readjusted my timing slightly to make the most of this. Throughout the day I’m always very awake, alert, happy and content. Generally everything’s good. PUMPS: Some muscle groups have typically been better than others. Biceps and forearms were tremendously pumped by the end of that session. It really come out of nowhere but once the pumps kicked in they were awesome. Relatively long lasting too- still present after a little cardio session at the end, albeit less Leg pumps have typically been less apparent, but generally I’ve been doing big compounds for them whilst my pumps are typically better with isolation exercises. Back is another area which has been pumped nicely. Excellent connection with my lats this past week. Much better than I would except. SWEATINESS/THERMO EFFECTS: Wow. At 4 caps C2 my workouts (both cardio and weights) have been as sweaty as a mofo. I’m literally pouring with sweat at the end of my workout. For someone that doesn’t sweat a whole lot this t feels great!! I haven’t noticed any adverse effects with taking the C2 at 4 caps. No crash or anything. Just great, clean focus in the gym. I’ve noticed less of the nigh time thermo effects after taking my pre-bed pills. Will keep the dose at 2 caps cAMPH to avoid potential problems sleeping. ------------------------- THE DAY: Ok, a couple of things I should note from this past week I haven’t already covered. The first day of increased dose cAMPH (on off days) I noticed a mild-moderate headache which lasted only 2-3 hours (I didn’t take any medication for it). I haven’t noticed this since, nor have noticed anything adverse on workout days with the increased C2/cAMPH combo. Second, and slightly worrying thing, to notice is after 5 days on the increased ‘megadose’ I noticed a very mild throbbing from my left testicle I lasted a few seconds and I noticed it again later in the day. I haven’t noticed any visible shutdown, tenderness or lumps (I checked thoroughly). I haven’t noticed this since at all, but it’ll keep an eye on it. I’ve also decided the sensible thing to do is slowly taper down my doses for a couple of weeks at the end of my log rather than just dropping off.Other than that everything’s good. The log should be back on track. Apologies again for a time off ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | DAY 43 15th May 2006 Legs, Calves (Overload week- 27 sets, ALL sets to failure) DAY 44 16th May 2006 Back, Traps, Biceps, Forearms (Overload week- 18 sets, ALL sets to failure) DAY 45 17th May 2006 Rest Day DAY 46 18th May 2006 Chest, Triceps, Shoulders (Overload week- 17 sets, ALL sets to failure) DAY 47 19th May 2006 Legs, Calves (Overload week- 27 sets, ALL sets to failure) DAYS 48 & 49 20th & 21th May 2006 Rest Days SLEEP: This has been a weird week in terms of sleep. With the RE-R3G in my stack I still go to bed as normal. No more or less tired, drowsy, fatigued or whatever. This really shows in the fact that the time between taking the REM and actually getting to bed sometimes varies between 30-90 minutes (usually closer to 45 though). Whenever it is I get to bed, I seem to be out a little faster than usual, although not much. The real difference is that fact that once I’m out I’m out. Some of the most consistently deepest sleep I’ve had has been this past week since adding REM to my stack. As I described it before, it’s like falling into a black hole each night for the duration. The first couple of days it was very hard for me to get out of bed in the morning, but since then it feels about the same as previously. Content of my dreams hasn’t changed, but they are consistently very vivid. I actually remember between 1-3 dreams of the dreams I’ve had the night before which can be pretty unusual (normally I’ll remember the last one before I wake). STRENGTH: Strength seems pretty good some days, pretty average others. Leg days have been amazing. Strength is up and up, which is great. This week one of the ‘monsters’ in my gym got talking to me and we did a squat session together. He kinda ‘encouraged’ me to squat ATG, which is something I haven’t done in months and months. I was pretty surprised at the results. It felt awesome- hit my quads, hams and ass very nicely and absolutely killed me in terms of cardio-vascular endurance! Loved it!! Back day was very solid. Dead in particular very great. Randomly, grip strength was something I noticed to be extremely improved as well as the deadlifts themselves. No pain, aches or painful pumps in my lower back and I was able to increase the tonnage by a couple of pounds and still keep the reps up. Other back movements were very strong and really shined now that I was going to failure. Chest wasn’t as strong as I would’ve liked. For some reason I hit the chest session feeling ‘empty’- slightly drained. No idea why. Hitching the dumbbells up was actually much more difficult that it should be and from there my lifts just weren’t up to par. No energy. As the workout went on things improved though. Shoulders were solid, triceps were excellent. I have no idea what happened at the start of the session. RECOVERY: Inter-set recovery has been excellent without exception. From my experience, this seems to be pretty much normal. I’m refreshed and recovered pretty quickly between sets and I’m still convinced that this is a combination of mental factors (probably the C2 and extra energy I associate with it) and actually physical recovery. I don’t wear a watch and sometimes it can be difficult to see the clocks in my gym but overall workout times are down fairly significantly. Between sessions my recovery is horrible!! I hate to say it but on an intense week, as this last week has been, I have been incredibly sore in the following days and this soreness is as long lived as I would expect without any supplements (maybe a touch longer). As USPLabs stated, this has probably got something to do with the increased intensity/shorter period of my workouts but it should be noted that I’m noticing zero improvements here. AGRESSION: No noticeable change either way. ENDURANCE: Endurance has been pretty excellent. During workouts I’m very slow feel fatigue which means I can push myself harder for longer. Whereas in previous, lower volume, weeks I haven’t gone to failure this may have been an issue but this past week I was able to push myself to the limit and stay within the constraints of a periodized program. Still zero burn in the weights room, independent of bodypart, which is awesome In terms of cardio my endurance is also very good an improving, although I’m not sure how much of a role this stack has in that. I have noticed my quads will feel the burn whilst doing cycling or stepper-machine cardio, but not in the weights room. LIBIDO: No real change. A little up from the week prior but certainly within the ‘norm’. ENERGY/FOCUS: Very good all week. I seem to really kick into action about 20 minutes into the workout. I’ve also played about with the timing of the C2 around my workout a little more but it seems I only really notice the energizing effect in the gym- and even then there isn’t really a peak but a consistent flow of energy for hours, without crash. From my experiences thus far C2 is most effective around 45 pre-workout. It also really helps lick up a sweat- luckily a towel has always been a mandatory gym accessory for me. I’ll be trying a couple of combo with the C2- maybe with AMP, Neurostim, Rampage, Stim X, R4W or whatever else I can get my hands on. I should also quickly note that this week I have suffered zero negatives effects from the increased dosage- no headaches, crashes, trouble sleeping or anything else. PUMPS: Pumps have been pretty good this past week. A lot of that can be put down to the increased volume of the workouts, but not all. Nevertheless, for me the actual pumps from this stack haven’t been mind-blowing thus far. Having said that I’m not big on the pump other than for a sense of achievement so this doesn’t really bother me. On the other side my muscular fullness is immense. I’m constantly astounded by how full my body looks and how clothes fit me differently. This is both in the gym and out of it. Obviously I look fuller after a workout but the effects continue on for days. The area in which this is most dramatic is my upper body; shoulders, chest and traps in particular. SWEATINESS/THERMO EFFECTS: Sweating is still up- and is still at sky high levels in and around cardio sessions, although I don’t feel ‘warm’ or overheated at all exactly. I’ve noticed the thermo effect of this stack a lot less this past week. This is most notable at night where I don’t feel anything after taking my cAMPH whereas in the 4-5 weeks previously I noticed a distinct ‘hot flush’. ------------------------- THE WEEK: Yo yo yo yo yo!! I’m still here. Besides the things I’ve noted in the update above I’ve got a couple other things to say. Firstly, I’ll be changing up my workout from this week. I’ve been on this stack 5 weeks now on the same routine so I think I have a pretty good idea of how things are going for me, but I’ve been on this routine for 12 weeks now and I feel it’s getting a little stale (and a touch boring). Thus I’ll be moving to Phase II of the Spytech Program as of this week, which is a 5 day split rather than a 4 day split. Also, I can’t believe it’s been 7+ weeks already. I thought I was on week 5 or 6, d’oh! I’m not sure what I want to do at this point; taper down now for 2 weeks or keep going for another week or 2 then taper down. Whatever I decide, I’m still convinced that tapering down is the sensible thing to do- especially considering the length and ‘mega’ doses I’m currently on. Decisions, decisions… Final thing is about these updates. I’m kinda convinced no-one really reads my long-ass daily updates so I thought I’d give a longer-ass weekly update a go. What would everyone (anyone) prefer?; - as it was before with daily updates - a long-ass weekly update covering the past 7 days - a short, grab-ass update each day and a long ass summary update each week - something else

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | DAY 58 30th May 2006 Back, Traps All that needs to be said about last week was that I suffered soreness upon soreness upon soreness. Basic movement was an effort. This week will be the start of my ‘taper down’ period. I’ll be dosing THIS protocol for the next 7 days then back to the very first protocol for the final 7-10 days. Hit the gym hard today. I had to take an extra day off this weekend in order to spend some time with the little lady- which was awesome considering we haven’t seen each other in 8-10 weeks ![]() Back workout went tremendously quickly. Much much quicker than last week and it felt to be a more quality workout than last week’s back workout- mainly because the mind-muscle connection was absolutely outstanding. Again, it was a little difficult not to let my biceps take over and prematurely fatigue, but the connection with my back was so awesome that this didn’t turn out to be an issue. However, there was a great but not inhibitive pump in my biceps as well as my upper back. Upper body fullness was also excellent. Recovery between sets was top-notch. This is what really helped me motor through my workout. I seemed to be recovering much better working a rep or two shy of failure at 10 reps than at 4-6. Rest periods were minimal. I didn’t max deadlifts today since the new program doesn’t call for it just yet- thus no updates on max weights for a while since logging a fraction of my max will skew results. I’ll certainly take into account the fact that my routine has changed up next time I 6 rep max. Also inspiring was seeing the guy I trained legs with last week (and subsequently crippling me) incline bench 10 plates for reps. Now seeing that’ll get anyone motivated to move some iron.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | DAY 64 5th June 2006 Legs, Calves Ok, so I spent last week not being as sore as the week previously. I basically put that down to adjusting to a slightly higher rep range and possibly a little more stretching out- particularly in between sets rather than just at the begging and end of the training session. Today’s workout was pretty great. I chose to train legs today rather than back/traps because I was really itching for a good leg workout for some reason. I also hit up another AMP/C2 combo as I’ve really grown to love it- 3 caps AMP, 2 C2. Started off with squats which were very good. Went ATG today because I’m loving the feeling I get in my quads after each set. Also, the monster that first ‘encouraged’ me to squat ATG a couple weeks back was about and I didn’t want him to eat me. Leg extensions were amazing. Weight was excellent, particularly considering the higher rep range, and my legs had an awesome pump at the end of the exercise. SLDL’s were also very good and I really hit my hams hard. Pump in my legs at the end of the session was incredible- and my legs are looking incredibly full, they’re actually chaffing against each other a little more than is comfortable. From some incomprehensible reason I thought it was a good idea to get on the exercise bike for some cardio after my weight’s session. With a little more common sense I would’ve opted for something a little less taxing on the legs- rower maybe. Nevertheless the cardio session was excellent, sweated like an absolute mofo and residual pumps from the weights session actually subsided and allowed me to have a pretty comfortable cycle. Random thing of the day; my right eyelid has been spasming all afternoon, which is annoying and strange as hell!! My left arm has also been tingling for a couple of hours. I’ve had this effect from AMP before, but not for this kind of duration. Also thirsty as Hell. Should also not that I ran out of SAN R-Ala yesterday so from today I’ll be substituting with the Glucophase XR I have stashed. I should also note than since this is week 10 (the final week) and the final part of my ‘tapering down’ of this stack from megadosed levels I’ll be going back to original dosing protocol for the final 7-10 days. Only another week until my final review ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 31 | DAY 68 9th June 2006 Back, Traps Reasonably sore all week= particularly in my ass and hams, but it felt kinda nice. My summer allergies have also been kicking in this week which has been a touch annoying, but they effect me much more in the evening/night than in the morning when I train, which is some consolation. This was my last official workout on this stack and of this log, and it was a very solid one to end on. All other sessions I do my core exercise first and the supporting exercises afterwards, but for back day I like to do my deadlifting right at the end of the session. Supporting exercises were all solid. My biceps felt a little easier to tire than a couple of weeks ago which required a lot of concentration to really work my back well. This was quite a noticeable difference comparing doses from two weeks ago, which was interesting. Mind-muscle connection, however, was very solid and I really felt my back working and not letting my biceps dominate each rep. However, the best part of the workout by far was thrashing my deadlift and ending this log by pulling 2 x my bodyweight for the first time (and for reps). My forearms/grip felt surprisingly comfortable (no straps) and the lift itself was very difficult but surprisingly achievable in the same go. I was very pleased with ending the log by setting a personal benchmark. A day later and my upper back and traps are pretty sore, as are my forearms, but my lower back is surprisingly not, which is good news! Will be posting my final update sometime in the next few days. It will be very comprehensive (as is my way) but if there’s anything specific people want included let me know ![]()
