| Pro Stature | I'm really used to play basketball just for fun and the cardio, but now I want to actually get better at it. I know weightlifting won't help a basketball player as much as drills but I'm a center so I need good size/strength/jump. What are some good routines? Should I try to make one or should I try something like WS4SB II?? Any tips, advice, and does anyone else here play basketball? A_N_91 |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | WS4SB will work wonders for you, as it will allow you to gain strength, which is sorely needed for b-ball players and upper body mass, again another helpful perk of weight training for basketball. Three days per week + any conditioning drill work should suit you just fine. Let us know if we can help further! -Andrew http://www.Modern-Athlete.com |

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | I would say the key to getting better in basketball always lies in your feet. You need to be fast, be able to jump, and to be able to work downlow underneath the rim. You should work on explosive drills. I would also work on strength in the legs. Also doing a lot of calf work always helps. Try walking on your toes with weights in your hands.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | Try looking up plyometrics....they are ridiculously amazing at burning fat, increasing explosive power (sprinting, jumping etc...) and they are an amazing workout. Def. one of the hardest things I have ever done. Check out jumpusa.com for some sweet equipment!
