I like II better because it incorporates Supersets so you can get an extra exercise or two in. DeFranco even says that 2 is an improvement over one with what he has seen in his athletes.

I like II for the energy system and what not. If you understand the WS4SB II program then go for it. Otherwise WS4SB I makes for a good base.

A question. I'm coming back from injury and have been doing WS4SB for two weeks now without the maxs efforts.
Why do you need to change the exercises every few weeks?

For the strong man/ extra running day has any1 incorporate swimming?
I get boared easily and I'm looking to mix it up. Any ideas?

You don't need to follow the plan exactly cause many have no equipment for the strongman events. If you play sports, the running should be used to help performance. Swimming is okay, not the best. If possible just do some sled dragging there.
