| Pink Members | whohoooo i am so excited about the playoffs! i love love loveeeeee NFL football! WILD CARD WEEKEND!! Kansas City Chiefs at Indianapolis Colts Saturday, 4:30 p.m. NBC Dallas Cowboys at Seattle Seahawks Saturday, 8 p.m. NBC New York Jets at New England Patriots Sunday, 1 p.m. New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles Sunday, 4:30 p.m. here are my picks for this weekends games: i REALLY think the chiefs will beat the colts....the chiefs are on a roll while the colts are in a slump...chiefs defense really needs to step it up this weekend for sure! i also think the seahawks will beat the cowboys even though i would love to see the cowboys advance....imho the cowboys do not have a good team this year and its pure luck that they even made it to the wildcards... i hope to see the jets beat the crap out of the pats but it will be a tough game! the jets beat the pats the last time they played so thats a good confidence boost, but the pats are a top notch team and usually pull out the win when they need to....lets just hope the pats dont have to rely on the rookie kicker to win the game! LOL the eagles outta be able to pull this win off against the giants as long as they stay focused...the giants just dont have what it takes to go to the superbowl this season i dont think, but if tiki has a good day (which means eli would too)it could get interesting! |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | my picks: chief vs. colts: high offensive game, may end up a 30+ points game, colts win by 1 TD cowboys vs. seahawks: seahawks by 14, t.o will kick parcells across the face at the end of the game ![]() jets vs. pats: if the jets put a nice blanket defensive scheme, brady will not have a good day. the game I see it will be decided by a FG. g-men vs. eagles: a high possibility for g-men to upset the eagles, if the g-men are able to break the offensive line (le/re) mcnabb may find himself scrammbling most of the day. eli 2td/2int I do not see him doing any better than this. ( if the g-men supply no defense, game over ) |

Mcnabb will have to be scrambling from his living room considering he tore his ACL about 7 weeks ago.. Jeff Garcia has been QB for the Eagles since...lol I think Indy will be able to take KC... could go either way with the Colts poor run defense, and LJs great running ability, but I think the Colts offense will be able to do enough to win it. Cowboys lose to Seahawks... Their Defense has been struggling, and Romo doesn't have enough NFL experience let alone playoff experience to guide the Cowboys to a win. Plus now that other teams have seen Romo play it is easier to game plan against him. Keep him in the pocket, and he is not effective. Seattle has one of the best coaches in the NFL, and if anyone can . I think the Pats Defense, combined with Bradys playoff record 11 - 1 will be too much for the Jets.. Giants and Eagles could go either way. Depends on which Giants (or Eli) shows up... The Eagles will do what they always do, and stack the box, and try to take Tiki out of the game, and dare Eli to win the game in the air while they blitz time after time... If the O line can give Eli a few seconds to throw the ball, Eli will be able to burn them for big plays, if not it will be a long day for the Gmen.

i think garcia will take the team to the next round for sure... i have to say i disagree about the colts winning....even though they have a perfect record playing at the RCA dome....hahah...and an almost perfect quarterback....lol....and marvin harrison...hahahahaaaaa..... IMO manning is battling with doubts that he can actually take his team to the big game and this mentally stymies him. i know he has what it takes to make the points....and the chiefs cannot ever rely on him to throw turnovers or make too many mistakes, but if they just believe they can do it the colts will be going home!! the chiefs defense outta be able to handle things as long as they step it up and play like they want to go to the superbowl. i also think Larry Johnson will give the colts a run for their money!!! the chiefs know they lucked out even getting IN the playoffs so i think they will feed on that luck and really come out hungry. it'll be interesting to see if their newest defensive back Michael Bragg helps make anything happen... the colts have a lot of guys coming back on the field from the injured list too....bob sanders, reggie wayne, dallas clark and keith oneil are pegged to return for the game. its going to be very interesting to say the least!!! as for the pats...i do agree they are one of the most solid teams in the NFL....i recently read somewhere that the pats have no glaring weaknesses....and this is true....but i TOTALLY think that the jets are going to come out on top...they have a fire that cant be extinguished easily and are all feeding on it and relishing in it....they have found a really good place and i totally believe that they will win the game no matter who they are playing.

Colts, and KC... tough one.. the Colts O line is small, and they definatly fade at the end of the year because of this... they start to get pushed around a little, but the Colts have only gotten blown out 1 time this year against Jacksonville 17-44.. their other losses were 1 by 7points, and 2 games by 3 points.. one of those was on an unlikly 60 yard field goal. But I would not be totaly suprised if KC pulled out the win.. One thing I will say is that there is chance Larry Johnson will never be the same after this season. He carried the ball 416 times this season.. In tha past great running backs for whatever reason were never the same after running the ball so many times in a single season.. In the very least he will have a short career.. I want to change my Dallas Seattle prediction to Dallas... I forgot Seattles starting CBs were injured, and I think even one of the backup CBs... Romo, Owens, and Glen should have a field day against their D... I stand by my Pats prediction... Last edited by bubba g : 01-06-2007 at 01:48 PM.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 178 | Should have stuck to my initial thought on Dallas... I thought Romo would be able to take advantage of Seattles depleted secondary, instead he choked, and probobaly cost Dallas the game. I figured Indy would win, but would have never guessed they would shut down LJ the way they did... Their defense really stepped it up for the game. |

2 of the 3 INTs Peyton threw were because Marvin Harrison didn't run the right route. Definatly not the best performance from Manning, but he was 30 of 38 for 248 yards that is a 78% copletion percentage... impressive considering KC used a cover 2 defense. I agree though.. I don't see Indy making it to the superbowl.... The Ravens, Chargers, and Pats all have more ballanced teams.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 178 | Eagles fans should send a thank you card to Coughlin. I can't imagine why Coughlin wouldn't use Brandon Jacobs when the Giants were 2nd and 2 at the Philly 6, or 1st and 3 at the Philly 3. Hopfuly this seals Coughlins fate. He had a lot to deal with this year with injuries to many key players, and Eli being so inconsistant, but he also made some really really bad decisions in a lot of games this year... This one being no exception.. Anyway good hard fought close game, and good luck to the Eagles... |

Tell the Truth as a Philly fan when the Giants were on your 3 yard line 1st down.. weren't you suprised that Jacobs didn't come out on the field??? To me that would be like the Steelers not using the Bus in the same situation when he was playing.. it is what he is there for.. I agree neither are superbowl quality this year.... I really didn't expect the Giants to beat the Eagles with so many Injuries.. I was happy they didn't get blown out, and that Tiki had a good outing in his last game.. That said I would never count out the Eagles though... they could go all the way this year.. Westbrook is playing really well, Garcia is doing really well, and the D is always a threat.. Oh yeah.. Coughlin is not going to get fired.. I just read that the Tish family wants him to stay as the coach for many years to come...

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 113 | i agreed about Coughlin not getting fired. I believed if he took the team to the playoffs, he'd have a job next year.
