Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 13 | Reportedly, Vince Young has scored a 6 on the NFL's Wonderlic test. This, if true, would be an extremely low score (Charlies Parillo said anyone scoring that low would be "stupid"). Do you think this really matters as far as predicting what Young's future may be? I have also seen it reported that it was a 16, but the talk yesterday was it was as low as 6. Just for some reference, here are how some past QB's have faired. Eli Manning = 39 Donovan McNabb = 16, 12 Daunte Culpepper = 18, 21, 15 Ryan Leaf = 27 Brett Favre = 22 Dan Marino = 14 Just to name a few. http://www.unc.edu/~mirabile/Wonderlic.htm

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 9 | Doesn't matter one iota as to his football instincts, and coaches will confirm this. When tested on instincts ("you're chase from the pocket and your top 2 receivers are covered man for man, and a running lane opens, but requires...", etc), Vince does well on that. But a 6 does mean that me might be an intellectual match for a coffee mug. I don't know if you've seen/taken the test, but I have. You can easily be pretty bright and score only about a 30. But smart guys do get better scores. Two 50s have been scored, by the way. But you have to be pretty dense to get below about 15. At least a dozen of the questions are absolute gimme's, so to score a 6, or even a 16, means you really can't think much at all. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 6 | I just had a feeling the kid wasn't brilliant. ![]() I remember looking at the scores from last season and searching the internet to take it. I got all but one right in the 12 minutes. The only one that I got wrong was actually pretty tricky.. had to do with the solstices I believe. So I guess that's a 49? I didn't think there were 50 questions though. A lot of them aren't very hard at all... Sample: Which number is lowest? 3 .2 4 -1 -5.9 Personally? This should hurt him since he's a QB. Although, I am curious what Michael Vick got on it. If it were ANYTHING but QB I'd say nothing. O'Dell Thurman got single digits on it. Frank Gore (although I think he's actually has mental handicap?) and Roscoe Parrish scored single digits and can play the game. I just personally would opt for someone a little brighter even if it means less athleticism at QB. EDIT: I'll look for the test, I had to google it last year, but I think you could find it on ESPN now that it's newsworthy.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 6 | Just looked it up, Frank Gore got a 6. I'm fairly sure I remember them saying he was on the special eductation track at Miami which allowed his SAT scores to be below the required SAT scores. Do with that what you will. ![]()

There's some good tutoring money in it for you, if you're a skilled Wonderlic taker. The big agents who send numerous clients to the combines help their players A LOT. They all (except for Vince, actually) get help with what to expect on the wonderlic, and the agents try to prep them for everything. Vince's people clearly did not do this.

Yeah, Canada. If "Find Canada on a map" was on the wonderlic, you'd see even one more wrong answer.

| Pro Stature | I know some real grade A moron who were excellent football players. Our star RB in high scored a...get ready....4 on the ACT. Guy could read the defense like a pre-school book though.

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | I missed one of them and it was reserve and resent, I thought they were opposites. Anyway, I finished the test in my head in 3 minutes.
