Default Jason Elam and I..............

I had a very fun time at the chiropractor's office this morning. I finally made time today for a much needed visit to see a chiropractor. The guy I was seeing was partners with my old doctor before he moved to Hawaii. I figured he probably practiced the same way that my former doctor did. I knew from before that he treated most of the Denver Bronco players.

Apparently he still does because while I was sitting in the waiting room, out walked Jason Elam, kicker for the Denver Broncos. I'll tell you what, nothing beats seeing a pro football player inside your chiropractor's office for a confidence builder in your new doctor's talents. Plus, since I am such a huge Bronco fan it was pretty fun seeing someone like Jason. Of course the waiting room is filled with personally autographed pics of many players from the past as well as players on this years team.

One thing I have really enjoyed about living in Denver compared to So. California is how often I have seen professional athletes out in public. I've seen players and coaches from every major Denver team at one time or another. I still see many retired players regularly at my gym. I've even seen Amy Vandyken (sp) at my gym once. She was one of the gold medal swimmers from the U.S. womens olympic team that won the relay.

I'm still waiting to see the man himself, John Elway.

Powerman, your post reminded me of the time I was going for a physical therapy session and I met Bill Bucker (post 86 World Series)of the Boston Red Sox, who was also there for therapy. Not quite as memorable as your experience though.
