Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | First place I lose is my chest/neck/face area.... people can always tell when I start cutting... even in street clothes. The first place I gain it back is my front lower ab area...about 8 sq. inches right around my belly button. I really don't gain or lose a lot in my legs or hips... just some subcutaneous.. but no realy large amounts. For me, 90% of the fat I gain is in my lower abs... and it's the last place to go.... damn stubborn lower ab fat! ( LipoBurn helps a LOT with that though ) - EME

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | That last bit of fat is the only fat I really have trouble dropping. The rest of my bodyfat pretty much drops off in a smooth progression over the weeks of my contest prep, but I'm always down to the wire for that last bit of lower ab fat. Sometimes is actually the week or two before the show that it actually comes off. I also hold water in that area too, so it often isn't until I get really dry that the bottom abs really come out. Even when I first started training, and weighed 105 pounds, I still had a little soft spot in my lower ab area. My body just likes to hold it there. I was never the skinny kid with ripped abs. There really aren't any special tips I can give that you don't already know.. other than you just have to burn it off. I use a lot of fat burners, and I have to do a lot of cardio to incinerate that last bit of fat. I have found that LipoBurn from Legal Gear really does work well for getting that last fat off, IF, you are already in a state of caloric deficit, and you are doing your cardio. Another supplement I used with good results during my last contest prep was 7 Keto... namely Lean Extreme by Designer Supplements. Lean Extreme, combined with LipoBurn, and my normal fat burning stack really helped me to get that last fat off there, and still keep my bodyweight and muscle up. - EME Quote:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 52 | unfotunetely the body wants to store fat in abs, lower-back and hips (men) thighs (women) first because these areas are much more sensitive to insulin, less sensitive to catecholamines, and less visceral (meaning these areas get poor supply of blood and oxygen). The end result is less chance of mobilizing the fatty acids. other areas of the body are quiet viceral and come off rather quickly. it has to do with evolution and survival. |
