Default What are YOUR trigger foods that make you go off your diet?

I've made and confirmed the discovery that dairy is a bad news food for me. Specifically cream cheese. I knew there was no food at home tonight so I picked up a 3oz block of cream cheese (I figured hey, i can't over eat if there's nothing to over eat). Sure enough, My appetite starting flipping out of control almost immediately after finishing. Thankfully I was able to 'catch' myself and i started eating raw broccoli (I started eating MORE dairy, i am glad I stopped myself before I did any damage).

Unfortunately, cottage cheese also has the same exact effect on me.... and to an extent, all dairy does. I'm not sure why. Cheddar doesn't set me off, but white cheese does. As weird as it sounds, skim milk even sets me off on a rampage.

Another two trigger foods I have to stay away from are bacon and sausage.

Goddamn baked products especially. I have very good willpower but the cannollis and other continental cakes at work are simply delicious.

No offense but Taco Bell and McD's is soooo gross!

I have no problem staying away from bad foods thanks to my one cheat meal a week. Last weekend I had one heavenly piece of chocolate cake, and I shared it with two friends.

Medium rare salty Flank steak is my ultimate weakness. :eat:

I can't keep bread in the house at all when I'm contest dieting.
I have good will power, but I could seriously eat a whole loaf of bread at one sitting.

I don't have cravings for food when I'm dieting if it's not staring me in the face... but I can't keep things that I'm not supposed to eat in the house.
I might have trouble if I did.

I dont experience cravings much and haven't in the past year or so. I cheat between once every 3-4 weeks. Only when I feel I deserve it.

My weaknesses(sp? :p) are:
Chille
Poutine
Homefries with extra butter
Cookie Dough
Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
and Lasagna.

:werd:

Sweets, (pastries, donuts w/ cream filling, cakes anything doughy and sweet), fried foods...(deep fried wontons, fried chicken, chinese food). UGH!

I don't miss the junk when it's not around me or inside the house. Except my DH likes to order take out some days for himself and kids.

Meanwhile, I just eat my steamed chicken/shrimp with veggies. Blah!! ;[

LoL

I just think about how healthy and fit I get every day when I avoid eating crap. I think about how close I get to goal when I don't give up to temptation. I feel proud when I do blood work and my results are excellent. :winkthumb

and I get the last laugh.

Just Burgers ...

Local burger shop, I eat there daily but it fits in my diet that way. When I stop any other time, I usually splurge on way too much food and it's the wrong kind of meal for that time of day

Luckily I'm not tempted by sweets, never have been.

But throw an INO burger in front of me and damn... its gone in a heartbeat. Burgers and fish tacos are my two weaknesses.
