Default What are some good ways to prevent binge cravings?

I'm curious what some people would recommend or have done. I am an ex binger and tend to relapse from time to time. True binging is something that most people cannot understand. Usually it's triggered by certain things... usually emotions but sometimes certain foods as well.

Before any one jumps on me... I'm not asking for help I'm only asking out of curiousity.

I've heard a ton. Such as, brushing your teeth if you feel the urge to binge (doesn't work), making sure you eat enough and frequently enough (again, doesn't work, haha), eating a cheat meal once a week (makes it worse imo lol), etc etc.

If you must binge, cause you just can help yourself, just set a date and stop being spontaneous, make sure you hit the gym beforewards and get a good workout in.

Solutions: caffeine, ephedrine, yohimbine, alcar, plcar, tyrosine, the other synephrine, etc, etc. Basically, your fat burner of choice plus a couple more things.

Damage control supps: SesaThin, DCP, fibrates.

Actually, for what I've read from some reports. RPN's DCP may just kill your appetite too.

Usually things that take your mind off of your current thoughts. Staying busy or going outside if you're feeling like you are about to hit the freezer.

1. Keep quick prepared foods to a minimum
2. keep unhealthy foods out of your reach(buy enough for current craving and not extra)
3. drink water throughout the day
4. Keep a snack food handy like celery
5. Eat often but in normal portions and healthy.

I have usually found I binge after I have let myself go a long period of time without liquids or foods and whatever was keeping me busy ends leaving me open to go all out on food.

I suggest against using caffine or app suppressants for a cure of the binges. I've found that since you use this as a bandaid that when you come off of it you'll just fall back into the same loop. You can't stay on stims forever but when you're using them for control of an actual problem you tend to stay on them longer than safe.

Binge eating is usually signs of something deeper than a quick fix can get rid of.

Keep some IGF-1 handy. It's almost impossible to get fat on that stuff. When the binge comes, don't resist, start pinning some IGF and pig out until you burst.

After the food is out of your digestive system, the only thing that will have increased in size will be your muscles.

OR: Keep your brain in a perpetually "satisfied" state. I help that with some 5-htp and rhodiola rosea. I got them in bulk at CNW and cap them, 'coz I'm a cheap bastard.

True binge eating isn't a discipline issue just like bulemia and anorexia isn't. Just eating like crap OTOH is but I think Skel is talking about something else.

When I feel the need to binge, I jsut force myself to eat plenty of clean food that I enjoy eating, for example peanut butter.
