Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | I'm currently trying to go on a ketogenic diet, but I have no clue what are some good items I could eat. Aside from salmon, what are some good high fat foods that are low in carb and good for consumption? |

| Amateur | keto is an awesome diet! first 3 days of keto suck though. there is a bunch of food you can eat on keto! protein tuna salmon tolopia (any white fish) chicken turkey beef whey eggs Jerkey(i stay away from it to high in salt) peporonie (just doesnt seem like a clean choice) Fats cream cheese at night (mix w splenda taste just like cheese cake) cheese egg yolks natty pb (smart balance is not the best tasting but loaded with omega's) nuts. (dont over nut it carbs will add up) walnuts cashews almonds(keep in fridge to do something to the fats, i cant think of what right now lol just trust me) extra virgin olive oil flax oil veggies broc green beans (in moderation high in carbs) no peas no carrots just stick with lettuce and broc. my personal thought is after a work out just have 2 scoops of whey with no fat. Alot of keto people say to have carbs after a work out buti just think that chances getting kicked out of keto. i call this my sunday -friday diet and on saturday have a carb up. try to make it a clean carb up stay away from white bread ect. but treat your self. Drink lots of water thats your best diet pill on keto any questions let me know.heres an example of my diet meal one 4 eggs 2 whites meal two tuna broc olive oil meal 3 chicken lettuce red wine vinagar splenda meal 4 tuna broc flax cheese meal 5 2whey pb befor bed pb 1.5 cup cottage cheese i like to keep it clean.

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | I eat so many eggs, sausage, chicken, beef and walnuts when I do keto. starting it up again today hopefully. cook in olive oil, eat some nuts but not to many. powermania has a great list. can't really add much more then that.
