Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Greetings, I am obviously new to the forums, and I have a couple of questions. I am a large guy (always have been and that doesn't really concern me) - but I am trying to get *healthy* irregardless of what my weight is, but something confused me today and I was hoping someone might be able to help clarify things for me (any help would be greatly appreciated). Stats: 6'3" @ 294lbs (<- this is where I need clarification). I have started a 3 day a week routine of weightlifting, as well as supplementing with protein (zero carb) and creatine. I am big so I lift heavy, I want to gain my strength back, don't really care about being *cut* if you will. The thing that I am confused about is this, I started this routine (weights) about 2 months ago, as well as a healthy change in diet, and supplementing. I am starting to look bigger and firmer, but I have put on 2lbs?!? I am eating around 2700 calories a day (most clean), and when I started I was 292 and now I am 294? Can someone please clarify why this might happen? Again any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you. -Scott. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Ok so maybe I should have RTFM'd some of the stickies first, but when I am frustrated or distracted, I don't always think clearly. Any suggestions would be great, but otherwise I think most can just ignore my ignorance of forum usage -Scott. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 50 | I put on around 6lbs of water weight from creatine mono. Plus your considered a newbie lifter again for a while and therefore should put on a bunch of muscle. Keep up the good work and great attitude!
