Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 9 | Well I would always start dieting with a balanced 40/40/20 plan or a variation of that, but after doing that I guess just research the diet and try them out to see which you are most comfortable with.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 32 | I never actually studied all the available diets out there... I just reduced my calories below what I considered to be maintenance... and it really isn't a low carb diet... as my ratios are 47p/27c/27f .. If that doesn't fall under a particular diet plan.. can I name it after myself.. "G3D" Game DayDog Diet ... Peace..~G

-Low cals -49p/28c/22f -Plenty of cardio I've never done any sort of diet like the ones listed above. But this diet has helped me lose about 30lbs in a couple months.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 158 | i've done 40/40/20, ckd, tkd, and i've toyed with bffm. I'm thinking of trying ABC next, because it includes a 2 week long bulk followed by a 2 week long cut, repeated.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 32 | Hmm.. If you wanna try it, feel free... I don't thynk 2 weeks is effective to bulk or cut... Now, if you were doing a continuous cut... (Yeah, I know Skel's alwayz cutting) ... but if you wanted to do a 1 week bulk-up eating routine to say, boost or shock your metabolism.. then I'd say go for it... But I remember reading an article that says it takes about 2 weeks for the body to adjust to the changes made in one's diet... Basically.. if you wake up one morning and decyde to go low/no carb... in order to force the body to use body fat as fuel.. it could take the body 2 weeks to complete the process & become an optimal fat metabolizing machine... I can't say how truthful or accurate it is... I can't even tell you specifically where I read it... but that's how I remember it... Personally, I would alwayz give myself 6 weeks minimum to observe changes... Whether it's a new diet or a new weight lyfting program... But as they say.. your mileage may vary.. & I definitely can't knock ya knowledge on the subject.. as you have way more experience than I do when it comes to losing weight/fat... Peace..~G

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 158 | Believe it or not?? CKD. Once you're in ketosis for a while and haven't eaten any carbs, you actually don't miss them. Fat tastes great, and my energy levels (and mood!) were very stable. Right now I'm back on TKD and my bitchy little mood swings and varying energy levels are coming back :\ (actually, past couple of days i've just been eating very moderate carb... maybe 2 or 3 carb meals a day)

| Pro Stature | I like the 'bodybuilder' diet myself Which is most like the Caveman diet, really. I would love to try the caveman diet since it is all natural and is most like what we're really supposed to be eating.
