Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 5 | Some people do manage to lose it that fast... its usually the people who were skinny and athletic at one point, and then got fat... I have a friend who diets fairly well, used to be fat, works out for an hour and half too two hours a day every single day, for well over a year and his progress seems very small for the amount of time he puts into it.. I mean he looks decent, but not where ya think he'd be I'm not saying I'm gonna be one of those lucky people who go from 26% bf too 10-12% in 3 months, but he always seems like he's trying to put himself in competition with me about looking good (I think he feels threatened by my progress thus far and he's very competative .. he always has to be #1) Which really annoys the hell out of me so I try not to talk to him about all this stuff.

I dont really plan on going under 200, I'd like to stay around 200/205.. I have a pretty big frame, considering I was never fat my entire life but always weighed alot.. by jr high I was already around 5'9 (I'm just shy of 6') and around 140/160, but not fat... considering my weight history I just think 200/205 area is more likely for a body thats been lifting weights rather then just being skinny

You should turn that jealousy into positive reinforcement! It's perfectly natural to feel jealous, but why not use it as inspiration instead of making yourself feel bad about it? And most of the time people lie about the amount of time it actually took them (to boast their ego). You wouldn't know if it is true unless you saw them every few weeks during that time. | |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 10 | In all honesty, I cut from 106kg (234lb) to 79kg (174lb) last year, in the space of three and a half months. I'm talking 45 minutes cardio five times a week, living off shit all food because I was a poor ass university student, and drinking litres of Pepsi Max every day. Some days I was eating 0 carbs, sometimes I was eating 50g carbs - but I'd carb up once or twice a week with a big ass pizza or nachos. I would have been 73kg totally lean (0 bodyfat) at 106kg, so I was quite fat. At the end of the cut, I would have been 69kg totally lean, meaning I lost about 4kg muscle in that three and a half months. After putting on 22kg from January to June, I was sitting around the 80kg totally lean mark. I've basically maintained that so far as I've cut from 101kg to 95kg. This time round, eating a lot better and doing enough cardio to stimulate fat loss but preserve muscle has seen me lose in two months what I lost in two weeks last year. So if you do it properly, as I found, its friggin' hard. Don't get jealous. It means you worked harder to do it.
