Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | it's kind of scary that a week after hitting my lowest weight ever, i'm up at around 205.5lbs ![]() I accredit a good 10lbs to some serious water weight. But even still... I have some amazing genetics for gaining weight. No wonder I used to be 300lbs. I can gain weight just by LOOKING at a plate of food. I'm just really scared that this bulk is going to backfire and I'm going to end up putting on more fat than muscle....

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 5 | Does it look like more fat, or does it seem like muscle too :>? I've never done a bulk, hell I'm in the process of doing my first ever "cut" I guess... so Im interested to know, as the idea of eating to put on weight purposely is kinda daunting. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | a little bit of both. A LOT of water. I went straight from doing a ketogenic (low carb) diet, to eating a surplus of calories with a ton of carbs... which is the reason why my weight shot up so fast. I can tell it's subcutaneous water because it's extra jiggly. With endomorphic genes it's very difficult to build new muscle without some sort of fat gain alongside it.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 5 | Sux. hehe. Water ain't bad tho I guess. At least you're doing way better than I am... for the life of me I don't think I'll ever get rid of my belly and manboobs. Really sux. My brother is a lot weaker, and has a lot less muscle than I and is only 8kg lighter and without either. I'm also the same height and with larger bone structure. Dunno how that shit works. :|keep it up sir, you're doin' fine work, and deserve a good bulk ![]() |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | Never say never, you can lose the gut and boobs! I know you can, because I know I did. I don't know if you're familiar with mondesi on bodybuilding.com, but he has a fantastic transformation losing fat. He has this fantastic quote he uses, "Wether you think you can, or think you can't... you're right". Your only limits are what you limit to yourself in your own mind. With hard work and dedication almost anything is possible! If you ever need help on your diet or exercise, or even just need support, post it up! I know what I was ~260lbs even though I had already lost over 20 I felt like I was never going to make progress. When you're fighting obesity it feels like a never ending battle, and in many ways it is. But you can win it. Even if it takes months and years, what have you got to lose by trying? ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | goal weights change all the time. My original goal when I was 280 was to get down to 220. Then it became 200, then 195...... now I think if I truely want to be 'cut' i'd have to go as low as 180. Goals are great to set, but they aren't necessarily the finish line.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 44 | Yeah, goal weights suck. I didn't think I'd have to drop barely below 200lbs to get a good six-pack but I guess I was wrong. Still trying to find those last two abs. ![]() And yeah Skel, I bet you in a few weeks you'll drop a lot of that water once your body gets used to it again.
