amazing. Today's my official weigh in day, it's been 6 days since i've done any type of rigorous exercise, i've been eating ~3000 clean cals a day for over a week, and my weight still remains at 198lbs

Today I start lifting again

omfg + a bucket of mutant fluff = wow what a workout.

I did 5-8x5 squats at 205lbs (endurance went up drastically since coming back, much shorter breaks between sets, much better form all the way through, much better intensity)

3x8 leg press at 410lbs

3x10 seated leg curl at 160lbs

3x12 standing calf raise at 320lbs

GREAT workout, When I was done i was so light headed I had to sit down in the locker room and collect myself before I puked. AWESOME FEELING. I destroyed my legs today

Fitness goal for the month of november: To become the biggest freakest monster in all of columbia greene college.

I lifted legs on Saturday and had to walk down the stairs to leave. Let's just say there was some giving out and falling... :bigthumbu I was proud of myself.

LOL. There was no giving out or falling for me today, but I sure was walking funny!

Just by how this workout went today, I can already tell I'll be able to bump up my squatting weight next workout. How do you usually bump up your squat weight? 10lbs at a time?

that's just what I squat. ??

Everyone is always posting about squatting so much weight, but I can't squat anywhere near what everyone else posts. The average weight people squat at my gym is around 225-240, a couple of the big guys squat in the 300s.

I dunno, 205lbs is a challenge for me. I keep good form and go down as far as possible while keeping form.

That's the olympic bar, two 45lbs plates, and two 35lbs plates.

Why does everyone always tell me my squat is so low???

And I'm CONSTANTLY squatting too... it's like the staple of my workout program.

oh yeah but remember, I'm a lot weaker than I look

I was ecstatic that I could bench the 90lb DBs, And I do 5x5 bent over bb rows at only 135lbs.

Next leg workout maybe I'll just go straight to 225lbs squat? Are the rest of my lifts pathetically weak to? Now I'm embarassed :o

Weak compared to what? The only "what" to worry about is what you did last.

btw, lifting more weight the same way each time is great, but eventually you won't be able to do that anymore and you will need to vary your routine.

I can't squat that much more than 205 lbs when going ATG. It doesn't matter how much you lift as long as you're going as hard as you can.

205x8 is definately a respectable squat for good form. I see too many people in the gym squatting 300lbs and goign down like 4 inches.

well, it makes me feel better that there was a guy squatting 155lbs and only going down about 4"

I'm weak compared to all the guys on the internet. Compared to other people at the gym i'm only slightly weaker than the big guys, where as on the internet everyone has monstrous lifts, lol..... :zoom:

what kills me is when they go around and do leg extensions, leg curls, leg presses... then... casually go do 1 set of squats with light weight :\ Who taught these people to lift :mask:
