Default It's harder to get back on track than I thought.

This is when will power would be a handy tool!

I decided, "Okay, enough" a few nights ago. I decided to begin with I will eat less junk food, less coffee, drink more water, and eat more vegetables until I am capable of walking around again.

The next night, despite my munching on carrots celery and cottage chese all day my girlfriend makes devil's food cupcakes....

The next day I try again only my car breaks down, once again, cupcakes were staring me in the face. All I ate that day was 8 cupcakes, a pound of carrots, and a breaded chicken patty.

So today I'm at work, and my friend comes up and wants to order mexican food from my favorite restaurant in the world. I lied and said I had no money. I then proceeded to buy a diet coke and a pound of baby carrots.... another friend offered to spot me, and they got a pizza. I figure, okay, self control... I had two pieces. They both left and left me two more pieces....

will power would have gone a long way in these situations

Now it's thanksgiving eve and the menu for the next two days is enough to give me a heart attack.

I'm telling ya, try intermittent fasting and only counting calories and hitting your macros (don't worry about food cleanliness too much). My brother has even less willpower than you and it really gets the job done. Start the day with a good PRE/POST WO shakes, then come supper time it's easier not to have pizza after you've already had 3 slices, then you check your Fitday and figure out what you need still to hit your macros so you a tub of FF cottage cheese mixed with cereal and you're good for the day. Plus you go to bed quite full.

That's kind of an interesting concept and definitely helps with over all health in the process. My latest trend has been to fill up on low cal veggies so I don't have ROOM for 3 slices of pizza

Set yourself a date.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, man. Go ahead and eat. But set a date for maybe a week later and prepare yourself for that day. The advanced notice may help you mentally.

Just a thought.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but I think I lost some girth just by stepping up my vegetable intake. I have still been eating like crap but I eat anywhere between half pound to a pound of veggies per day (carrots, celery, etc).

I wouldn't doubt it one bit.
