Default Ravenous hunger at 2500 calories a day

By the end of the night it gets so bad that I get cranky, take benadryl, and force myself to sleep.

What does it mean? Why??? WHY??? Why does my body want to eat so badly? Is this a sign of a raging metabolism, or is it the sign of a fat boy's body fighting to stay fat??

are you using the benedryl as an appetite suppressant or as a sleep aid?

sleep aid. You can't eat yourself into obesity if you aren't awake.

There have been times in the past couple of years where I was SO DETERMINED that it was like I had no appetite. Last december when I cut down to my lowest weight ever and officially lost 100lbs total I was probably eating under 2,000 cals a day and I had NO hunger issues.... and I'm eating generally the same foods as I was then.

At over 220lbs and probably (i'm sure) over 16% bf, I don't know why I'm having such a hard time dropping fat. Everyone always used to tell me that with more muscle it's easier to maintain a lower BF%. I'm bigger than I ever thought I'd be two years ago, and can't even GET to 15%

I gain weight at 3,000 cals Never under(over?)estimate a true endomorph's metabolism. Genetics can be a bitch. All I need to do to bulk and put on weight at 1-2lbs a week is eat like a normal person. I've been pretty much maintaining at 2500. I'm trying to cut on 2200 but i can't seem to control myself later in the day.

Have you tried allocating more of your cals to fats? It will keep you feeling full longer then carbs.

Well 2500 cals is on the low side for you even on a cut so you have room to bump it up. When do you feel the most hungry at night before bed?

yeah, my hunger is like an old coal powered furnace... it gets more and more ramped up as the day goes on. I try to eat the bulk of my cals surrounding my workouts, and my evening dinner is usually pretty hefty too. I just posted what I ate today in my supp kings log.

I even slam 1-2 gallons of water every day and eat salads.

I suppose at well over 220lbs 2500 cals is on the low side, but if it were so low I'd expect to be dropping in weight. My weight has stayed the same

when you jump on that clen, your benadryl is gonna help you bud, gonna clean up those receptors nice and good. Its a good receptor fit, better than epherdine.

To answer ur hunger question, its just your body adjusting itself to its new caloric needs buddy. Look for real low cal munchies like sugar free rice crispies. 5 cals normally that i keep munching, when i lower my calorics.

You may be entering the famous "starvation mode". Body holds on to fat. You know the rest.
