Obviously if you are trying to lose weight you want to keep as much muscle as possible, and creatine will help you do this. If you've never lifted weights before it's possible to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, but this won't last much more than a couple of months. I'd recommend concentrating on dieting down to a reasonable bodyfat % and going from there. Continue to lift heavy, try to lose 1-2 lbs a week, do cardio, maintain a clean diet, and don't overdo the supps. Creatine is a good idea, and I'd also recommend taking fish oil, green tea, and a product like sesamin to help weight loss. |
