Tommy, losing this kind of weight is going to take a few months. There is no magic pill. You have to consume less calories than you burn over a time period. If you have a high metabolism, that will help you do it faster.

You have to cut out junk foods and eat nutritiously. It is best to have 6 small meals per day. That way your digestive system is burning more calories by processing that many times. It will also help you with hunger by eating small meals more often. Get used to egg whites, oatmeal, brown rice, whole grain breads and pasta. Eat lean red meats, chicken and fish. Whey protein is a good low calorie, low fat source of protein. Take a few scoops of protein powder every day to keep your lean mass fed. You can eat most fibrous veggies as much as you want. You must drink lots of water every day. If you want more info, let me know. I can, or others can, design a diet for you.

If you are like me, you like to eat. When I want to lose fat, I do the above, but eat at my normal maintenance level, but I then do tons of cardio. I am not sure what you can or can't do because of your feet. Swimming, biking, rowing, kayaking all come to mind. When I was cutting I was burning an extra 1200 calories per day. This took about an hour and a half of strenuous activity plus an hour of lifting every day. Exercise and/or diet are your practical options.

For what it is worth, I was able to train for strength while I was on a cutting diet. I couldn't lift as heavy, but did all of the PL exercises every week and was able to make strength gains each week. I am now bulking, and that strength is really reaping nice rewards.

I will keep an eye on your thread and help when I can.

My mom had this and was able to rehab it with special exercises. I'll ask her what they are and get back to you.

This is some sound advice. The only part I differ on is the cardio. Cardio must be done in moderation. 1200 kclas of energy used for "strenuous" work will almost definately decrease one's strength in a caloric deficit, and likely on maintenance.

This may work for you A.Free, but I'm not sure it would be optimal for the original poster. I believe 80% of the poster's fatloss will need to come from diet alone.

To the original poster: The foods needed to properly cut are the cheapest (per gram of macronutrient) around. Lean meat can be expensive (make sure to get SOME of it in your diet), but egg whites and a protein supp will be key to your success in a tight budget. Whey is the cheapest for of protein (per gram) available. If you are in highschool, it is likely you still eat what is in your house. Since it is a medical condition, I believe the support of your parents may be (and should be) required.

I agree with all the statements. It will take some time, and won't be an overnight success but over 3-5 months there is no reason to not believe you won't feel 300% better. Just take the advice and put in the effort.
