Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 5 | Every morning I wake up and within 10minutes of opening my eyes I hit the running track on the reserve behind me... I'm only out there for about 20minutes, but I run about 2-3km as fast as I can. Oh, and just before I head out I quickly drink a serving of Xtend. So far it seems to be working... Lord knows how you exactly gauge if you're losing muscle or not, but my strength in the gym isn't decreasing even while I'm on a strict cutting diet, so I guess any muscle loss effects couldn't be too great. This is just me tho, and as with everything, it's probably extremely different for every individual.

There aren't that many true ectos or mesos out there. I tend to think the large majority of people are primarily endomorphic and how their body is shaped depends on their eating habits. Endos are really the genetically superior somatotype because they are not only above average strength, they also fat nicely for those times when food is scarce. An endo caveman would have the competitive advantage over an ecto or meso.

| IronMass Donator | I don't think I actually like doing cardio, but I do like the feeling of self satisfaction (read - 'smug') knowing that I did at least do it, and no matter how tired I am (except for days I get less than 4 hours of sleep - then I skip my cardio) I will go and do it because it has to get done. I am an endo/meso, so I pack on fat like most Americans pack on debt. One or 2 cheat meals and no cardio and I can be up by 3 or 4 lbs. The cardio that EME has me doing is brutal, which at least helps me do it (I am of the philosophy that anything that hurts should hurt like hell, so if something is going to suck, I want it to be such a miserable and horrible experience that at the other end of it you feel that you went through some shit to get there - so you can truly appreciate the fight). Oh well, off to the gym to climb a mountain. |

| IronMass Donator | I've been climbing the stairs at work alot lately - that has seemed to help my cardiovascular health - not my weight at all mind you, but I feel better. Go 3.0 mph on a treadmill at 15% incline without holding onto the rails - do this for 45 minutes and you'll be a puddle. |
