Default I STILL hate my body and my crazy diet...

Here I am, 2.5 years later... and you know what? I still am disgusted by love handles.

My arms have just "that little bit" of flab, as does my chest, and my love handles are ridiculous. I have huge amounts of muscle but I'm just not lean.

Now that I'm up at school it's easy to eat right... cos I'm on the verge of starving.

Breakfast 5 eggs
meal 2: 3tblspns soynut butter
meal 3: 5 eggs
meal 4: pwo shake
meal 5: tuna with olive oil
meal 6: tuna with olive oil

I do ~ 40+ minutes of walking in hilly terrain each day plus i'm still doing a 5ish day split...... who wants to take a bet that I start dropping some pounds?

I refeed/carb up on weekends or when someone swipes me into the mess hall.... (then i undo all my hard work)

Working my obliques isn't going to help my love handle situation I don't think unfortunately. I think I'm the victim of some moderately loose skin that collects/holds fat at the belt line.

I mean, it figures. The one body feature I am embarassed and horrified of is the one I can't seem to fix.

It's tough to say man. It has been this way for a while. If i were you, i'd do more intense cardio in the mornings. I know u don't like carbs, but I think you would benefit from 20min of sprints in the morning, followed by a breakfast containing 40g carbohydrate with ur protein. Then go keto for the rest of the day.

Looks great and super clean. I'd bet that you'll get great results. Veggies for fiber though?

Oh yeah, and you forgot the carbs.

Yes veggies as well I'm not going to follow this menu exactly every day as it will depend on what's on sale at the supermarket (namely tomorrow).

This is it. I'm going to drop some serious fat, I can feel it.

The goal is to stay above 200lbs lol

Do you honestly think this is either a clean or good diet to have to lose fat and build muscle? The diet is FUBAR. Not nearly enough calories to do anything with. No carbs, all your fats coming from olive oil and peanut butter and egg yolks. While they are some good fats it's not nearly as varied and healthy as it should be. Where's the amino acids, the fiber, the varied protein sources?

You're starving yourself and you will not lose fat in this mode. You're doing three things i can see off hand at 430 in the morning.

1. Killing your metabolism.
2. While you may have good amounts of muscle. YOur weight loss with this diet is more likely to come from loss of muscle over fat
3. Setting yourself up for nasty gastro and even possible anxiety/depression issues with this diet. You'd be surprised how you'll screw with your mood by messing up your body's functions.

All this time lifting bro and you neglected the number one thing that makes you grow and makes you lose fat. Diet.

the diet isn't by choice jayhawk. I'm jobless and taking 18 credits, most from upperlevel major classes. the 40+min of walking is walking back and forth to the school.

But yes, I do think that diet is clean. VERY clean.

Skel, I know things are tough right now but have you considered picking up a part-time job for evenings and weekends? It isn't the easiest thing to balance training/school/job but the money makes the little things like buying food a whole lot less stressful.

10 whole eggs every day? I understand that they're cheap, but in such huge quantities they aren't great for your heart...all that cholesterol. Any way you can swap out some eggs for some meat?

Screw a part time job. I'm in computer science myself at a university and my 3rd year I dropped out of a course because I was taking 15 credits and the workload I just coudln't keep up with. I've taken 12 credits per semester since.

Go for the student loan instead.

And maybe add up the calories and make sure you're hitting at least 11x bodyweight. I think the foods are clean though, all great choices of fat in my opinion.

I was working 20 hours a week all through undergrad as a biology major @ Washington U in St. Louis. 15 credits/semester...any less and you take longer than 4 years to graduate. Everyone is different in what they can and can't handle...but telling Skel to get a student loan is kinda silly, IMO. Thats just another unneccessary pain in the ass that'll follow you for the next few years. He's able to get by right now without a job or loan...but if he was making $50-$70 a week I think that would give him more options for his diet. He said it himself, the diet isn't by choice.

I agree that all the foods he's got listed are excellent sources of fat...but the fact that he's getting 2.7 GRAMS of cholesterol daily from his eggs is what i take issue with. Thats 900% of what you need. A bit much, no?

Cholesterol doesn't work that way bro

And yes I'm gonna see what meat is on sale this week. Personally I'm more worried about the mercury than the cholesterol

Color me puzzled. Your body produces its own cholesterol for use in your cell membranes(around 1.5 grams/day), but dietary cholesterol is also absorbed at a rate of ~50%. You're telling me that the 1.3 grams of cholesterol you absorb from your eggs every day isn't going to have a negative impact on your lipid levels? You only have 40-50 grams of cholesterol in your whole body...

Not trying to give you a hard time, just wanna make sure you're being safe

the more cholesterol you ingest, the less your body produces, eggs also have both hdl and ldl which helps balance the equation out nicely. Cholesterol being linked to heart attacks is bad science.
