Exclamation Critique my diet!

Hi,

I am just about to start cutting, and I have my starting diet planned. I havnt had a bf% test yet (getting later this week) but I think I am about 16-18%? I am 108kg (237 lbs), 28 years old, 5'11", and have been bb'ing for 4 years.

I realise there is definitely "some" room for improvement here, but I wanted to start out with a diet that I can improve and tweak slowly as the weeks go on. I am not doing a contest or anything, just cutting down so I can see my long-lost abs

Let me know what you think, and where I can improve it over the following weeks and months. Cheers

I am doing weights 4 x per week after meal 1, and doing 45 min non-impact cardio on two of the other days at the same time. I have one rest day which has one cheat meal in it (Sunday roast )

I posted this at bb.com too but it got pushed down the queue so fast by trolls and rubbish misc posts, I gave up in 5 minutes...

i think it looks great... and i'm pretty critical. Really good.

Obviously you'll have to mess around with kcals as you cut. But judging from the diet... you know what you are doing.

Cheers guys. I know the cals are a little high, but I have just started, and I want to be able to do a steady reduction over time. I will do stuff like replace the flavoured tuna with plain tuna, replace the skim milk with water, etc as I go. I do weigh 237lbs remember...

Apart from the adjustments I have mentioned, can anyone else think of any tweaks or suggestions?

looks great, i like your idea of just slowly reducing, instead of quitting cold turkey and then relasping and having every gain you made lost.

Hey D been too long bro. Pretty solid set up bro, I like the carb reduction as you hit the pm. What time is your workout usually slotted and what if any fat burning supps are you going to use?

Hey guys, I know I havent been round much but Ive been so busy with work, and have had some kind of mystery pain syndrome that has prevented me from training much this year. Im keeping on top of that now, so Im back into the weights to burn off the fat that has gathered over the last year...

I work out after meal 1, which goes hand in hand with the higher carbs in the morning. I am taking fish oil at the mo, but I will start to take some fat burners soon, havnt decided exactly what though yet. Any suggestions?

I may well start a cycke as the cals get low too, too scared of losing muscle!

cycle?

If you can, i would lift a little later. On a cut especially, I need my kcals and glucose store as big as their going to get. Muscle loss shouldn't take place with good heavy training.

Glad to hear your feeling well enough to hit the iron again. As far as fat burners I and many others had awesome success with Melting Point/Basic Cut's combo.

No, cycke! j/k

Yeah I meant cycle...

I cant train any later, as I have some kind of inflammatory pain condition that is much better first thing in the morning, and which makes it impossible to train in the afternoon. I used to train in the afternoon after 4 meals, trust me, I can tell the difference!!!!

It looks good, I started mine at about the same stats as you and that was my starting cals. I had my protein higher at around 350+ g and the carbs a little lower than yours. Then slowly decreased them over time.

Nice to see you around D.
