Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | Sooo I'm running a CKD diet right now and on low carb days you're supposed to go really low, like 20-25g of CHO max. With the current diet I'm running I get 48 grams of carbs per day. I only take in 24g of sugars/starches though; the remaining 24g is just fiber. Does this matter? I wouldn't think so since fiber is only a carbohydrate by structure and it's non-caloric.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 109 | if you are getting your carbs from things like avacado, nuts and veggies, don't even worry. I've never "counted" a carb in my life. When you low carb, you cut out all fruits, starches, sugars etc. It's not as important for the type of diet you are running, because you never really reach ketosis anyway. It's mostly about caloric/ insulin manipulation through varying carb intake. That's why performance athletes can do it.
