Default cardio and Cutting

I am cutting right now so I have gotten back into cardio. My question is should I be doing cardio before I lift after I lift or on day I don't lift? I am currently running after I lift but have run across a few things saying that is bad too just as running before you lift depletes glucose. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I guess it all depends upon the intensity of your weight training and the intensity/duration of your cardio.

Typically, I understand it that light "cardio" to warm up is good BEFORE you lift and your 15-20 min cardio AFTER is best.

Or cardio on off days...

Ideally you want to seperate lifting and cardio so you're fresh and able to push your hardest on each.

Often though this just isn't practical and you should lift before you do cardio. Lifting first allows you to push yourself the hardest while you're still not fatigued and have the most glycogen. Lifting while not fatigued is much more important than doing cardio while not fatigued.

Thanks that is what i am currently doing. I just started supersetting 2 weeks ago so the workouts are intense and fast paced. I usually stick to 2 body parts per day.

I just do my cardio right after I lift; no one really has time to get in the gym twice a day(if so I hate you). I'm still trying to figure out how I want to deal with the fact that it pushes my workouts into the 2-hour range and I need to freaking eat something!

I read this book called Game Over, it is posted someone on the forums, and it said low intensity cardio for 20-30 minutes is good when your cutting. The guy who wrote it said it was meant to deliver nutrients to the muscles faster.

When I did this for about 4 weeks, quick paced walking after I had lifted, I dropped down to 8.2% bodyfat I think from around 10%. I think eating very well is a main key too. Great book to read.
