Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 15 | Well I usually have a meal of oats, almonds and a whey blend. You could do the same , but baiscally make sure you have heatlhy fats and a slow digesting protein would be a good choice. Adding carbs before bed is not a problem either so don't be afraid of carbs before bed.

I keep a huge stock of Slim Fast shakes in my bedroom to slam down before bed and right when I get up. A good finisher and starter IMO. | |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 57 | Any protein source is good before bed along with a healthy fat to slow down the digestion process. Plain fat free yogurt with mixed nuts in it is a favorite of mine. Cottage cheese and natural peanut butter would be fine. When I travelled, I didn't have a lot of cooking options, so I combined whey with milk and olive oil to make a slow to digest protein shake. (It tasted creamy.) *

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 49 | 1 tablespoon of natty PB on an apple (slices) or on a slice of wheat toast. Low-fat cheese (casein is the main protein in cheese) or cottage cheese. Veggies are ok any time. 1 scoop of Muscle Milk mixed in water. Hand full of nuts like almonds or peanuts. Yogurt is ok. These are a few late night meals I do: 2 eggs, 1 can of tuna fish on a slice of wheat, low-fat/sodium meats like chicken & turkey. I make these meals all with 1-2 tbpns of olive oil for fat. |
