Default What are some good protein dense foods?

My diet is more of a high protien and I can't get enough protein without overdoing my carbs and fats. Like for example, my chicken breasts have 20 grams of fat per piece while my total daily fats is around only 60. Are there any foods that I can take taht is mostly protein?

Whey protein isolate. Very lean chicken breast strips (thin), cottage cheese, organic lean beef (96%).

K, thanks. I'll definately look for some lean chicken and some cottage cheese. I doubt I can use beef because I can't cook for shit.:boink:

On whey, I don't have knowledge so I don't know what's good or bad. What do you recommend for an isolate that has a good taste?

Go to *********** and order some coldfitrated isolate whey with stevia (or double stevia) with chocolate flavor. I got it and it tastes great and a very high quality.

why the hell does your chicken have 20g of fat??? Boneless skinless chicken breast should have very little.

any sort of lean meat will be very low in carbs and fat. Chicken, lean beef, pork, etc.

I'm guessing your chicken breasts are breaded with flour or other similar ingredients? If you google search on a popular (not for us bbers :nosthumbs: ) fast food restaurant chain (mc dicks, bk, etc.), you'll see their chicken breasts are usually above 20 g. of fat. My dad buys the chicken breasts--by the boxes--and are super lean. There's minimal fat and about 21g. of protein per 100 g. Look for those in your supermarket.

Foods that I incorporate in my diet are shown below:
- Cottage Cheese
- Skim Milk (no fat)
- Whey Protein (Champion Nutrition's Pure Whey Protein Stack - tastes unbelieveable - see my review = Champion Nutrition Whey Protein Stack Review.
- Chicken Breasts
- Pork (a leaner of the red meats)
- Eggs

Good luck, bro! Anyways, I gotta jet--:zoom:!

K, thanks man. So definately next time I go for food shopping, I'm gonna definately get cottage cheese, skim milk, and I'm going to look for lean chicken breasts.

I might not even buy whey if I find that the foods above are good enough for my needs.

What are your goals? If your trying to build mass, try to increase your calorie count as well. I've gained nearly 4 pounds this week from lifting hard and increasing my calorie count. I upped to an extra 500 calories a day.

ps. buying whey protein will make things much easier for your nutritional needs, trust me.

I'm cutting now. If I was bulking then I would just take everything in that I could find, lol

I already have a 6 lb. tub of GNC vanilla because it was on sale but when I tried it, it taste absolutely horrible.

How is it not right? That could be his goal. IMO as long as he's getting stronger, he's fine with the added 4 lbs. a week.
