Default Which tuna do you like the best?

Ahhh yes, Tuna. The bodybuilders staple food.

After trying about every type of tuna on the market, I found that the gold can Bumble Bee solid white albacore is by far the best tasting and least 'fishy' tuna out there.

I throw some jalapenos in a bowl, some bread and butter pickles (no sugar, sweetened with splenda), couple teaspoons of fat free mayo and some season salt and tada! A perfect meal in a bowl (I have taken to using styrofoam bowls and plastic forks so I don't have anything to clean up afterwards).

Anybody got a tuna they like better?

Chris

well... certainly white albacore of any type is going to be the best...

next on the pecking order: chunk white
then: chunk light

brand-wise... I've found everything tastes pretty much the same. I buy whatever is on sale (generally the generic brand)

Cheap is my best friend, working at a grocery store I can get CASES of the cheap stuff when a good sale is going.

Few weeks back Chicken of the Sea was on sale for 3/$.99. I took advantage buying 2 48 can cases.

Yup, that's a good brand.

I usually get chunk light of the Kroger brand, that's usually the cheapest regular price around here at $0.50 / 6 oz can. It tastes about as good as you can expect for tuna.

Sometimes a store will have a special of $0.25/can and I'll buy several cases.

Cheap any brand. JUST NOT IN OIL. I had to learn the hard way to be sure to read the label on each can before walking out of the store.
