How does mercury from power plants wind up in fish? When mercury is deposited into the water, microorganisms help convert it to methylmercury, a highly toxic form of mercury. Small organisms and plants take up the mercury as they feed. As animals higher up the food chain eat those plants and organisms, they, too, take in methylmercury. The process continues, with levels of mercury increasing, up the food chain. This process is known as bioaccumulation. Fish higher in the food chain, such as sharks and swordfish, have much higher mercury concentrations than fish lower on the food chain.

It does taste great!! Better than plain ol' tuna straight of the can. I'm laughing here cause I honestly was gonna get pissed if it didnt taste good...I don't like wasting protein!! LoLI tried it with 1 scoop of vanilla cream whey protein powder, vanilla extract, 1pkt of Tangerine/grapefruit crystal light....cold water and ice. (strained the can of tuna and gave it a bit of a rinse.) Blended the hell out of it...turned out nice and frothy and creamy...had an orange creamsicle flavor and didnt taste of tuna at all!! :nosthumbs Pretty good stuff I must say...gonna have this in the mornings! Never thought I'd try something like this...glad I did. ![]() Thanks for sharing Bubba.

Most people think it is a prank.. then once they finaly try it they can't believe how good it is.. If you don't have vanila whey a teaspoon of vanila extract works too to give it that creamsicle flavor... throw in some ice like you said too to make it nice and cold...
