so with a 33/67 creatine/dextrose combo I get this:

4lbs of Customized Creatine/Dextrose

67% Dextrose

33% Creatine Monohydrate

2.68lbs of dextrose = 1072grams of sugar per 4lb jug..

1.32lbs of Creatine = 594grams of creatine per 4lb jug..

1666grams per 4lbs

So I will be getting about 52servings or so soo

theorethically : 11grams of creatine/serving and 20grams sugar per serving..

sounds alright I think I might mess around with the %'s a bit more and see what happens.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't all whey net the same result. I mean aside from the marketing gimmicks and fancy packaging they all have the same ingredients, right? Currently I'm taking some generic X-Sport fitness type, (put aside the fact that I got them 50% off) but then again protein is protein.

It's good somebody brought this up because I'm almost out I will need to reorder soon.

Thanks, Chris

Some whey (concentrate, blend) is harder to digest because it is unpure. It may contain carbs and fats. Ion-exchange whey protein isolate, the highest grade, is just about only protein. Yes it is better. Is it worth twice the money? That depends on you.

I mostly use egg/milk proteins between meals and whey only postworkout. Whey makes up only about 10% of my total protein intake, and 25% of my powder intake.

grunt, this brings up a question in my mind. What would be the proper use/supplementation of egg protein. Is it for those who are lactose intolerant? or is there some extra property. I figured egg and whey proteins are both quick absorbing.

Egg is slow-absorbing, just as milk isolate is. Its amino profile is different than whey. It breaks down into different peptides in the gut and thus does have many different properties. I use a combo of egg white and milk iso, which contains casein and whey at a low price, in order to hit all the angles in my protein supplementation. These are slow-digesting protein, so that they are perfect between meals and preworkout. I highly recommend mixing up protein sources. Some guys get 60%, 75% of their protein intake from powder, which isn't great, but ALL that powder is whey, which even though whey is a great protein, too much of a good thing is...

Anyways, I like hitting all the angles.

thanks for the quick reply. I didn't know egg was slow digesting. Surely is doesn't touch casein, but I imagine it is somewhere in between. Now i know. Thank you. I'll start using egg with my whey for my "on the run" meals.

Here's an idea. Buy a big tub of Dextrose AND a big tub of creatine then you can mix them in whatever ratios your diet at that particular time dictates instead of having it all mixed together. The only downside would be that you'd have to find some other shit to overanalyze and overcomplicate but I have no doubt that you'll be able to come up with something

I Can't AFFORD a big tub of both, otherwise that is what I would do. Maybe if you read my first post, you would know that, and that is why I'm trying to get a good ratio for a custom mix. That and I haven't used *********** before, so I figure its better to sample it first and see if I like it, then go and buy a years supply and be stuck with something I dont like. thanks for the advice, I'll use it if I stay with TP in the future.

LOL...Relax Kiddo...OK..Let's try this again....

IF YOU BUY THE CREATINE AND DEXTROSE SEPARATELY THEN YOU CAN BETTER ADJUST THE RATIOS OF EACH.... BUY A BIG TUB..BUY A SMALL TUB...WHATEVER YOU CAN AFFORD..THE POINT IS..WHY MIX THEM WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW FOR SURE WHAT RATIOS OF EACH YOU'RE GONNA BE NEEDING?
ANOTHER POINT. NO OFFENSE BUT AT 25% BF I'M NOT SO SURE THAT YOU NEED DEXTROSE IN THE FIRST PLACE....

Never gotten sick off of any TP products I have taken. Have had about 100lbs of protein from them so far. 50lbs WPI wild berry/sucralose. 30lbs of 40/40/20 mix chocolate/sucralose. Rest = Cold-Filterated Whey Protein 20+lbs Vanilla/Double Stevia. I personally like stevia sweetner. Very weird taste and I like it lol... But the key would be focus on real food. Chicken, tuna, beef, steak, etc. That is what will help put on mass. Shakes = supplementation. Which only means 5-15% of the overall picture.
