I was reading threw an old Flex magazine (1998 February issue), and i read an article about protein.. And it said if you cook your food your food loose a sertin % of protein but it didn't say how much protein % you loose from cooking your meals... How much protein do you loose from cooking your meats, etc..... |

You body doesn't even absorb 100% of the VIABLE nutrients you put into it. Lets say I eat 4000 kcals to gain weight. My body only really needs a fraction of that to truly gain, but unfortunatley, due to my body's inability to decifer, digest and use everything I put into it, I must eat 4000 kcals to reach that certain point of positive saturation. Get it? It is the same way with protein. We all cook most of our whole protein sources. Bioavailability is all relative, and varies from food to food, occasion to occasion. Find a diet that works for you, eat enough, and you will digest enough protein.
