Default Peeing every 30-45 minutes???

Is this normal and healthy? Because I have been experiencing this for a very long time... and quite frankly, it becomes bothersome. I drink a good 2 gallons of water every day (in addition to coffee), and It seems like whatever I drink usually gets peed out half hour later, give or take.

My mom says it's health... lol... ? Is it? My pee is always clear, sometimes a very slight pee color to it.

Something else I've been experiencing which is new is that I have to squeeze my bladder pretty hard to get the last of it out, otherwise sometimes I get some dribbles/leaky faucet. (Okay, that was embarassing :bigthumbu )

2 gallons is quite alot of water. Are you taking any diuretics? I know if I drink too much coffee I have to pee quite abit.

Ya I piss about once per hour prob. 2 Gallons is alot but not abnormal. It will take your body sometime to adjust the amount water. Don't sweat it . If you are thirsty drink up. You don't have to be forcing yourself to drink 2 gallons. I always judge the color of my piss to see if I am getting enough or not . ALso like Steve said diuretics will dehydrate you and make you drink more water thus pissing more often.

Coffee is a diuretic. Try cutting back, or stopping.

I go at least every hour, if not closer to every 30-45 mintues, but I drink fluid constantly all day. I'm never without a drink, literally. So, it's perfectly normal if you are taking in a lot of fluid.

Fluid in = Fluid out.. otherwise, you'd have some major edema occuring.

Its normal with the amount of fluid you are taking in.

Be glad is going out. Otherwise, hellllooooo water retention.

I wouldn't worry about it unless your pee is a real darkish or brownish color. This is the signal for dehydration (if taking diuretic) but if clear or yellow, then keep on keeping on.

It's good to know that we all go through it then

Brb, need to use the bathroom... lol...

yeah. It gets sort of in the way. For example, my hiking class in college is 3 hours long, and it's (as funny as it seems) illegal to pee in the woods... and I constantly have to get up in the middle of my regular classes :eek2

Not to mention the people at my job must think I'm nuts

After workouts I have to pee everyone 10 minutes for about an hour, OR ELSE!!!

During the day probably just once every 30 minutes aswell.

Just don't take too long in the bathroom or they'll get wrong thoughts and never shake your hand again :headshake

Sounds like it may be a prostate problem. It could be inflamed, you should go for a check up.

Well next time you stick your finger up your bum feel around and see if it's swollen.

On a more serious note, try some Saw Palmetto. If you have a swollen prostate this will help a lot and may eliminate the symptoms altogether. I've had prostate problems since I was 20 so I have a bit of experience with it.

It's even more scary when Doctor Proctor puts on his rubber glove, and tells you to grab your ankles...

Nah you can have problems at any age, I get bouts of prostatitis but it's nothing that can't be managed. I just hope it doesn't increase my odd's of getting prostate cancer when I'm older.

By the time you have to worry about prostate cancer it will be a snap to get rid of it. Most men get it by age 70, it is the slowest growing most treatable form of cancer there is.
