Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 11 | I'm sick of the shit. But I get 75g protein out of a 300g serve. Costs me $4.20 a can (or thereabouts - normally $3.50 on special). I can get medium BBQ chickens, with decent sized breasts and legs, at the supermarket of a night for $3 a pop. Obviously I'd need to tear the skin off, but for someone who's cutting (supposedly ), is this gonna work for me? Bear in mind I can't get em until around 8.30pm - is it ok, or will I need to do more cardio? I don't give a shit about extra calories if it means I don't have to eat that vile fish every day.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 161 | I know i should be ... but i dont eat any fish at all... i pretty much only eat lean cuts of beef and chicken and turkey. If you arent cutting and care more about your money than the extra calories then go ahead and switch to chicken. :nosthumbs

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 5 | I got sick of tuna a long while ago. I get a whole whack of my protein from chicken, milk and powders. It's not ideal but it's better than losing weight.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 15 | If convenience is an issue, Swanson makes canned chicken breast meat, although, it probably isn't any cheaper. It's a nice change from tuna though! :eat:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 299 | Ya you can get canned Chicken or Turkey for a good price. The only problem is it's usually high in sodium and tastes kinda shitty too but it's still a swtich from tuna. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 182 | I sometimes get canned Salmon...Kirkland brand..has no bones or skin. It tastes great compared to Albacore tuna that I also buy. I can eat it straight of the can it's that good. Only thing is it's costly $$$ ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 71 | I hear Sardines are pretty good. Good amount of protein, go down much easier than tuna.

![]() I can get 6 oz tuna for $0.50, and sometimes as low as $0.25 when it's on sale and then I load up on it. How about trying a bag of frozen chicken, that is relatively inexpensive if you're sick of tuna. I can get a skinless boneless 4 lb bag for $8 USD and it takes about 20 minutes to cook. | |
