Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | Looking for some feedback on the use of coconut oil as a source of healthy fat or MCTs. It seems like it would be a good option and could give my rice a pleasant change of flavor. Are there any negatives to using coconut oil for bodybuilding purposes? I would not be eliminating flax/omega fats, just mixing it up some more. Thx.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 113 | Coconut oil IS a tropical oil, so it is naturally high it saturated fat as well. I tend to consider saturated fat a healthy fat. Obviously not an EFA, but, being a semi-direct precurser to T, super-duper anabolic. I try to get up to 15% of my fats from Sat fat. So in conclusion, as Sixpack stated, it is definately a good choice as long as you keep other EFAs in your diet. It is also, like you stated, good for cooking. Get the B rice tastin good. | Pro Stature | I would love to try coconut oil when bulking since it helps with testosterone production, but they don't exactly sell it around here.
