Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 12 | what about if your going to start to bulk? plus, i am currently unable to use supps yet due to fininacal (sp) reasons. so i can't just go make up a shake. and i find them to be convient (sp) as you just need to take one out of the box and eat it. especially if you are too busy to make a actual meal or something.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 15 | Well I would think in the long run the health bars would be more spendy then whey protein? I just think real food would be cheaper also whole wheat bread or oats, tuna, egg or egg whites, skim milk there are many options that are better and prob cheaper that take very little time to prepare.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | A cheap shake alternative is ground up oats and whey protein. They are cheaper than the bars and don't contain so much saturated fat. Whey protein and oats are pretty cheap. You may want to keep the bars with you incase the choice is fast food or not eating.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | I agree with what Six says, there are better options that are still reasonably quick to prepare... but with that said, I am definitely going to be loading up on some cytogainer MRP shakes and some Balance protein bars, before school starts this year, because I am going to 'literally' have no time to prepare food...

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 114 | dude, looking at your diet, IMO, I think you can have a few of these/day. They arn't optimal, but in ur particular case, you'll be okay. You need more carbs and fat than anything with all that cardio, so the bars are okay in moderation. i don't mean to disagree with six and all those guys, certainly an oats and whey shake is way better and definately cheaper, but if you can't... you can't.
