Default Finished for now

Ok, so basically my plan is I'm finished with eating things like walnuts and chicken breasts all day. Instead I'm just going to eat as much as possible, doesn't matter if it is mcdonalds, ground beef, steak, salad, oats, one-bite brownies, I'll just eat everything in sight.

I'm aiming for around 4000-5000 calories a day and at least 200g protein, the rest is not going to be kept track of. I'll post my results in a couple months from now.

excellent. I feel many people would do better on a dirty bulk. The key is just making sure you eat every 2 hours. Dirty or whatever... keeping anabolic with regular meals will reduce the fat gains (maybe) and keep your body saturated.

Get more than 200 grams of protein. Eating 5000 kcals... you want at least 300. Even at 300, protein will only make up about 25% of ur diet... which is good for a dirty bulk.

Awsome. Take some before pics.

How long are you planning on going? 40...60... 80 lbs?

IMO just limit the trans and sat fats, and everyone will be jealous to hear about your mcdonalds and other fast food exploits... have a milkshake for me!

How is a dirty bulk better than a clean bulk with the same number of calories?

If the point is to put on healthy lean muscle then there's no such thing as a dirty bulk. Just a crappy diet while lifting :P

i dont think he was eating 4000-5000 clean kcals. I think he is young, lean, and simply looking to put on weight. I believe many lifters' first bulk should be semi-dirty and long. Creating a nice foundation by putting on 50 lbs is a good way to go. That is what I did anyhow.

Just ask yourself: Could I be eating right now?

There is always time to be lean when you are older. Just keep cardio in the regiment.

I think most of the time the reason for a 'dirty bulk' is the lack of motivation or patience to prepare foods. It's a hell of a lot easier to throw down some mikky d's vs. preparing chicken for the day.

I wouldn't do the fast food thing...

I agree with you on some level, but there is a big difference between dirty bulking and eating whatever the hell you want.

I agree. Unfortunately I think a lot of the younger guys or ones new to the scene think dirty bulk is synonomous with heart attack foods.

Dirty bulking is far better. I hate it when people say, "cut, then clean bulk" or, "definitely clean bulk" - especially when someone states they want to gain mass quick.

Calories are calories. However fats and carbs and proteins are not equal. If you're taking in 4500 calories you show me any proof that 4500 of fast food calories puts on lean muscle better or faster than 4500 healthy calories. I can however show you plenty that shows the associated risks you take by eating like crap over eating healthy.

The mentality of getting it done as fast as possible at all cost go against the grain of this sport which is to be strongerbigger and healthier.

when you are a teenager at the top of your sexual peak and hormone levels, with nothing to care about except school and girls, why not gain as much mass as possible? Most of us don't compete, and even being "fat" for a bber is just the same as an average male... except the bber is massively muscular. The fear of fat in this world is rediculous. There is nothing wrong with being massive (fat or otherwise). When hormones are at the level they are in teenage years, unless you have serious endomorphic qualities, a little dirt in ur bulk will only help.

Well, I had that mentality but when I can stare at my bloodwork and see the long term effects I can no longer support that line of reasoning. I think that it's your body and you can do with it as you please. However, I think it's less than responsible to advise people to not care what they eat. You wouldn't just let someone shoot up 3grams of test a week if they came on here. Why would you suggest to people to eat foods that are known to cause artery and heart problems years down the line?

It's not like people just eat bad food during a couple of 'on' cycles a year while the rest of the time eating clean. this mentality usually carries over to become a lifestyle.

All things in moderation. Nothing you do that gets you there a few months faster is worth risking your long term health.
