Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Here lately my energy levels drop dramaticlly during my workouts. I make it a little over half way through and I get weak and some times even light headed. I haven't really changed my eating habits but I do work out at 6am now instead of after work. Any suggestions to get my energy levels up that early in the morning? |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 113 | avoid training in the morning unless u want to get lightheaded and tired. Whole Food takes about 2-4 hours to metabolize... so u can see the problem with glucose levels. If i have to tran in the AM, i do sugar pre-WO.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | I really can't change my work out time. I do the gym before work, work then Jui-Jitsu classes after work. I'm up about an hour before I go to the gym if that helps any. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 113 | that hour helps. Pound down some ground up oats and some fats when u wake up, then (i know Pman will disagree) I heavily recommend sipping on about 30-40 grams of sugar leading up to ur training.

what are your goals, if u don't mind me asking? If your goals are to bulk up a bit or put on some mass (assuming u aren't too carb sensitive), you may benefit a lot by eating a lot of carbs before bed the night before.... something like pasta, broccoli and red meat might just help a ton for training the next morning.
