| Fast guy in training | Let's say that someone who is bulking wanted to really beef up their chest and back but not so much on their legs. Would it be a good idea to up food intake on the days that you lift chest and back, up food intake for a certain period of time after working chest and back or does it not really matter? |

If you don't want to increase the size of your legs, then just stay at the weight you are using now for the same amount of sets you are using now. You need to consume a certain amount of protein not just to add new muscle but because your body constantly renews itself, other wise we would all have 250lbs LBM... lol... So in my humle opinion eat consistantly and control shit like leg size with your workouts.... | |

If you don't want legs, don't work legs. But your body needs to have an abundance of protein after your workouts to repair the damage that you have done on chest and back days. *

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 118 | Yeh... forget nutrition for bodyparts. When bulking, always eat extra. Just don't kill your legs. To maintane the strength and size you DO have in your legs, hit them residually in moves like a deadlift or clean/press. Why don't you want wheels?

Because as hard as you try to NOT feed your legs after you work them out, they will adapt to repair themselves over the next week with nutrients you intend to put towards your upper body.
